Marsciano Apartment Rental Photos and Description
La Fratta is an ideal choice for anyone who wants to spend a holiday in Umbria and, at the same time, have an experience in pottery. Courses are organized at different levels, according to the participants’ ability. Groups are generally small in order to keep the right balance between relaxation and work. Even if you have never worked with clay before, you will be able to create your own work of art, starting with the construction of a form up to the final firing. If you already have experience in ceramic art, we offer you the opportunity of attending proficiency courses (modelling, throwing wheel) and learning new firing techniques (raku, naked raku, bucchero, etc.).

Why Elisabetta Corrao chose Marsciano
The farmhouse is immersed in the natural beauty of the Marsciano countryside (near Perugia) and during its restructuring the owners were determined to maintain the simplicity and originality typical of the country houses in the area. Therefore, they used mostly salvaged materials as well as decorative and practical elements that were designed and produced by them, mainly in raku pottery. Their residence is on the first floor while the old stable was made into a large workshop and art studio next to which there is a permanent showroom. For our guests there are bedrooms with bathrooms and spacious common rooms, including a library that is well stocked with art books and guide books of Umbria. Outside there is only green and tranquillity. Immersed in the Umbrian countryside, this country house hosts painting and ceramics courses. It offer rooms and apartments set in a large garden with terraces and sun beds. Marsciano is 7 km away. All accommodation at La Fratta Art has a mix of rustic and contemporary décor, with terracotta floors and ceramic fittings. Wi-Fi is free throughout. Swimming pool in the garden.
