1 Bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleeps 2
La Perle is an enchanting private home on the two top floors of an old village house, in the medieval village of Haut de Cagnes. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning both day and night. It is like being on the bridge of a ship.

Both floors are air conditioned, and there is high speed internet. On the lower floor, there is a bedroom with a sea view and a queen size bed (160 x 200 cm). There is a marble tiled bathroom with a shower and washing machine. On the top floor is the living/dining-room, with a fireplace and a modern kitchen. There is a 3 ring induction stove, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, a kettle, and a toaster. All along the main wall of the room, there are windows and sliding glass doors, opening onto the terrace. The terrace comes with an awning, that makes it a very pleasant place to be, even on the hottest summer day.

About Mrs Petersen
My name is Lena, and I am Swedish. Back home, I used to be a business journalist, writing mainly about the psychology behind it all. But like many people, I always had a dream about living in France. In 2002, my dream came through, and I found Haut de Cagnes - a hidden gem. I have never regretted it! Nowadays, however, I also have a small apartment in Stockholm - that I can rent out too!
Mrs Petersen purchased this apartment in 2005
Why Mrs Petersen chose Cagnes-sur-Mer
I fell in love with La Perle when I first saw it - the view, the light, the atmosphere. It is unique and is really worth its name!
The first six years I only used it as a rental property. People just loved it, and many come back regularly. Two years ago, I completely refurbished it and made it my own home. Since I also own a studio on the ground floor of the building - and an apartment in Stockholm - I can still rent it out and let others enjoy this lovely place!
What makes this apartment unique
La Perle is a mix between historic and modern. It is very well equipped, and you will find everything you need (if not, just let me know!). Looking out on the sea and the mountains from the terrace or the living-room is just wonderful - in summer or winter, in daytime or night time, in rain or sunshine. Indoors, you will enjoy the old stone floors, the wooden ceiling beams - or the modern and fully equipped kitchen.
