This is a new large 99sqm luxury apartment located just 150 metres from the sea, 15min from the South Airport and only 5 miles from Los Cristianos. Perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, with plenty to do and a choice of restaurants within minutes. We have furnished our apartment with most of the luxuries of home with particular attention to comfort. The master bedroom has a very comfortable Super king size (6ft Wide), Bed and in the lounge there are two quality sofa beds, one King size and one single. Other luxury qualities: Rooftop pool with fantastic views, Private underground parking space, Lift to all floors, Luxury En Suite Jacuzzi bathroom, with separate shower & twin basin vanity unit. Los Cristianos and Las Americas are only 5-7 miles away respectively. This quiet area has very little traffic, has a number of restaurants, bars and 3 mini markets all within a few hundred yards. For the energetic the location is Ideal for hikers, horse trek riding, surfing, fishing, sailing, swimming, diving, but is also perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday and to enjoy the beauty of the Canarian coastline. Golfers can take advantage of the beautiful, quaint 9 hole Los Palos which is just 2 miles away, complete with driving range, putting green and a lovely cafeteria/bar at the entrance. Palm Mar is central to the South of Tenerife which makes almost every attraction and cultural sight within easy driving distance. In fact you can drive around the whole island in just two hours

Additional information about rental rates

  • To book we require £100 deposit with full balance paid 6 weeks before departure. The property is privately owned & a security deposit of £100 is required & should accompany the final booking payment. The security deposit is in case of breakages, loss or damage to furnishings, bedding, keys etc. The security deposit will be returned as soon as the keys are returned to us.
    We do everything possible to ensure all facilities are available, but we accept no liability for any lack of facilities due to any circumstances outside of our control.
  • All prices are for the entire rental of the Apartment per week (There are no hidden charges). We ask all our guests to vacate the Apartment by 12 Noon on the day of departure however luggage can be left inside the Apartment in the hallway till departure to the Airport. We work on a friendly flexible approach to change-overs & ask all arriving & departing guests to do the same.
    We can arrange for our maid to service the apartment daily if required at additional cost.

  • The en-suite luxury bathroom comes complete with jacuzzi bath, separate shower, twin basin vanity unit with cupboards and drawers for storage as well as a huge mirror above. The en-suite is beautifully tiled with marble floor. For those that may sleep in the Lounge there is a separate Cloakroom with toilet and Washbasin, mirror and Marbled floor.

  • The Master Ensuite bedroom has a Super Kingsize bed (6ft wide). There are bedside tables, two wardrobes (one with a safe), and a chest of drawers giving storage space for all. From the other side of the bedroom patio doors open out to a private rear balcony with table and chairs. In the Large lounge (19'x 15') there are two Sofa Beds, One Queensize (5ft 3in wide),and one Single (3ft Wide), These are of the highest quality and are simply pulled out in seconds! No big muscles needed. Please note there is a separate Cloakroom , chest of draws and a clothes rail in the utility area for the convenience of anyone sleeping in the lounge.

Notes: There is a lift to all floors. Most of these apartments are privately owned and privately used which means that the Rooftop pool is very quiet indeed and very often completely private. Security is excellent with remote control for garage parking, computer chipped keys for the pedestrian gate, top quality high security multi-bolted apartment door as well as a safe in the bedroom. All that said and done this must be one of the friendliest safest unspoilt villages on the island.

The Seafront: The seafront is only a two minute walk away and has a newly built promenade which lines the beach for several hundred yards. The nature reserve is less than 1/2 a mile away which is a wonderful coastal walk.

Golf in South Tenerife: There are five Golf courses in the South of the Island all usually in terrific condition, quite testing with beautiful views all within a 20 minute drive. 1. Closest is the Los Palos 9 hole course which is only 2 miles away, small but plenty of challenges, which is well worth a visit in preparation for the international 18 hole courses. 0044 922 169080. 2. Las Americas (6 miles), a 72 par course with magnificent views. 0044 922 752005. 3. Golf del Sur's (8 miles), 27 hole course which has hosted many international events can be very busy and you are advised to book in advance to save disappointment. 0044 922 738170. 4. Costa Adeje Golf is another terrific course which has greens with several doglegs (could be handy for that slice or hook), only 12 miles away Tel 0044 922710000. 5. Amarillo is the fifth course (7 miles), which is another 27 hole course besides coastal cliffs again with spectacular views. 0044 922 730319.

we had a quick drive down from the airport the directions given were very good. there is a lovely avenue of palms on the main road leading to the apartment with a few supermarkets to stock up of provisions for your stay i would advise stopping at the large supermarket on your right as you enter palm mar it has wonderful selection of fresh meat vegetables and bread.
we found plenty of parking outside the apartment block although we were aware of use of garage in the basement. the enterance is very secure. the apartment is lovely exactly as described. although there are cheaper properties available i would suggest that the extra for this apartment is more than reflected in the quality of the fixtures and furnishings. we especially likes the comfort of the bedroom with the lovely en suite. but my favourite part of the apartment was the large front terrace. we found the table and chairs comfortable but loved the L shaped sofa which was fabulous for relaxing in the evening. this was enhanced by the provision of a lovely bottle of cava left chilling in the fridge for our arrival
the roof top swimming pool and terrace has lovely views over the sea lots of comfortable sunbeds and a nice pool.
we liked casa flamingo to eat in the evening we were offered a special choice every evening among which were sea bass ans fillet steak. the wine offered here was very nice and all reasonably priced.
the owner of the property give us excellent customer care. she give accurate description of all facilities, written instruction to use everything in the apartment, contact numbers and ideas for excursions

Lovely Honeymoon

Had a FANTASTIC 10 days honeymoon in Palm mar. The apartment is very luxurious and has all the facilities you need, very clean and spacious. We will defenitely book again very soon... Loved Palm mar... Stunning view over the balcony... and affordable and friendly places to eat nearby ... El medano beach fantastic for the day but wouldn t want to stay there... El Flamingo is a must.. doesn t look great from the outside, but great value for money and brilliant service... with a little surprise after your bill...

Tenerife apartment-stylish-peaceful-high quality

The owner's description of this apartment was 100% accurate. Instructions and helpful phone numbers were all clearly set out as well.

To say that the apartment was clean was an understatement: everywhere literally shone. The standard of fitments, bed-linen and towels cannot be shown in photos: it was superb. Lovely fluffy towels, Egyptian cotton bed-linen, marble floors, top quality tv and sound system, very comfortable settees, superb en-suite shower ... The apartment was also very spacious - much bigger than the impression given by photos - plus it was very quiet there. No passing traffic or noisy night-time revellers! Also, two balconies gave plenty of sunshine.

The roof-top pool was a pleasant surprise. The water temperature was distinctly refreshing in February but I would imagine it to be perfect in the Summer. Again, everything up there was very well-cared for: high quality sun-loungers, lovely peaceful terrace, very clean pool.

The Flamingo Restaurant, very nearby, looked shabby but we gave it a go. The owner was so genuinely personable
we had to go again! If you're feeling rich, try the Windmill
which is somewhere near the motorway, about two stops up: romantic setting, indulgent food and top quality entertainment. This doesn't come cheap!

We enjoyed walking up to the local mini-supermarket each morning for delicious, generously sized croissants. We had the benefit of a hire car but think it might have been cheaper to use a taxi from time to time. (Probably a lot safer too, as their motorway junctions are potentially lethal!). I think you can get a free bus to Mount Teidy which was our only long-distance trip.

Top Quality Holiday Apartment

Having spent over twenty holidays in Tenerife we at last found the perfect accommodation in the ideal location for those who like to walk and relax in peaceful surroundings.
Even the walking literature was perfect for what we needed. The walks to Las Galletas-about 90 minutes- with a coffee or beer waiting was a very fulfilling experience.
We also went over the mountain at the end of the prom -not as hard or dangerous as it looks -we are in our sixties- to Los Christianos was a pleasant experience if you are prepared eg water, sunscreen, hat etc. About 90 minutes at most. Got the bus back to the palm mar roundabout leaving a straightforward walk back to the village -about35 minutes.
We were also pleasantly surprised at the quality of the supermarkets and eating places
The highlight of the holiday however was coming into the lovely apartment with every comfort waiting.Superbly equipped for cooking, CD DVD TV and every appliance you could need.
A truly top quality apartment in every way and I would not consider anywhere else if and when we can arrange a similar holiday next year Very clean and well maintained
