New 3 bedroom detached fully equipped Villa adjoining open countryside. Villa Nel Rosa is located on the edge of a small peaceful village, 10 minutes drive from the coastal resort of Zelena Laguna and 15 minutes drive from Porec. The Villa accommodates six people very comfortably, with a double bedroom and two twin rooms (one with bunk-beds). The villa has a large south facing patio with a private swimming pool (approx 8m x 4m). There is secure parking for two vehicles to the left of the villa. A small shop for essential supplies is within a 5 minute walk and several excellent restaurants are within a 5 minute drive.

Villa Nel Rosa is located in a small development of 6 villas on the outskirts of a peaceful village, about a 10 minute drive from the coastal resorts of Plava Laguna and Zelena Laguna and a 15 minute drive from the town of Porec. The local countryside has been likened to Tuscany and the area around the Villa is open fields and vineyards. Pretty hill top villages such as Groznjan and Motovun and attractive seaside resorts of Vrsar and Rovinj are within a 20 to 30 minute drive.

The outside and the coast: The villa has a large south facing patio featuring a private 8m x 4m swimming pool (1m to 1.5m deep). Outdoor patio furniture and sun beds are provided together with a barbecue. A small shop for essential supplies is within a 5 minute walk and a larger mini-market and restaurants are within a 5 to 10 minute drive. The nearby resorts of Zelena Laguna and Plava Laguna offer tennis courts, jogging trails, horse-back riding, mini-golf, sports gyms, water-skiing, yachting and diving. A cycle route links the villa with Porec and the coast. The well-marked cycle paths make cycling an excellent way to experience the gently rolling countryside. Beautiful beaches are located in small coves along the coast within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Most are rocky / shingle with swimming platforms that extend out into the sea. A walk along the pretty coastline path between the resorts of Zelena Laguna and Plava Laguna is particularly recommended.

Travel and Distances: The villa can be reached in under 1 hour from Pula Airport (RyanAir) and in less than 2 hours from Trieste Airport (RyanAir) and Rijeka Airport (Easyjet). The airports of Ljublijana (EasyJet) and Venice Treviso (RyanAir) and Venice Marco Polo (EasyJet) are within a 3 hour drive. Car hire (or use of a car) is essential. Distances: Porec (beaches, shopping, marina, Euphrasius Basilica) - 15 mins. Vrsar (beaches, marina) - 15 mins. Lim Fjord - 20 mins. Rovinj - 30 mins. The pretty hill top villages of Groznjan and Motovun are 40 mins. Pula (Roman Amphitheatre) - 45 mins.

Lovely, airy villa with much larger than expected pool. In quiet, rural area but just 10-15 minutes from Porec. Very well equipped, owners seem to have thought of everything!
Although you are next to two villas, didn't feel overlooked or bothered by noise.
Throughly enjoyed our stay, only wish we had two weeks as there is so much to do and see. Lots for children, lovely parks with play areas, trampolenes, mini golf etc.
Porec is lovely, loads of nice restaurants, nice beaches nearby. Enjoyed fact Croatia is so different to Spain etc.
Still good value as not in Eurozone yet. Went on boat trip along coast, good as you get to see other towns without having the drive and the trip was lovely.
Highly recomended property. We will be back!

Hi Linda, hi Dave, everything was ok!!! The villa and the pool was clean and it was cleaned one time in the 10 days we are there. We enjoyed at most the pool because of the hot weather. To drive and look it was most to hot. It was super relaxed holidays and your villa is great. Thanks to being your guests and the nice communication. We wish you all the best till maybe we book your villa again!!

Our holiday at Villa Nel Rosa

We had a wonderfull holiday in the so well equiped villa. It is close to Poreç (good road ; 7km), central located to visit all nice places in Istrië.
Everything was above expected. I can't imagine something negative. Everything was clean; pool and villa. We also liked the cleaning half way during our stay.
Equipment more then you need on a holiday was available. Me and my daughters liked the Ipod player the most ;-)
We found a lot of information and instructions about the villa. The owner sents you a very detailed visitors book with all necessary info.
We loved the experiences found about places worth visiting. Also the restaurant recommended by the owner made it a complete stay.
Maybe for families with very little childeren that can't yet swim, the pool lowest part is about 1m (I think). But there is space to let them play around.

Our stay at Villa Nel Rosa

We had a lovely week here in June. The villa and pool were brilliant. Everything was very clean and tidy. The villa was very comfortable and spacious and very well equipped with everything you need. The area is beautiful. You need a car to see the lovely towns and villages. In the villa there is a map which pin points areas of interest which was very useful. There are plenty of watersports at Zelena Laguna which is about 8 mins drive from the villa. Lots of restaurants around. Nearest town is Porec which is again about 10 mins drive. This is a lovely town, lots going on brilliant in the evening. We would definitely recommend anyone stays here. A week was not long enough we hope to return soon.

Villa Nel Rosa ist er very good equipped and comfortable house, beautiful located in the small village Dracevac only a few minutes away from the Sea (Porec). If you want, you can reach some nice beaches even by (mountain) bike. At Porec and the surroundings many different sport and other facilities are available. Close-by for example you can go horse-riding (for our 17 years old daughter) and find a little zoo (for our 8 years old daughter). A visit in Pula (Roman amphitheatre) is essential - but there are a lot smaller towns and villages, which are worth a visit (Rovinj, Vsrar, Novigrad). Short Comment to the Istrian Cuisine: good restaurants - recommended by the "Istrian Gourmet Guide" (you can get him at the "official" Tourist office Porec) are at least as good as in Italy but less expensive.
Finally: We visited Istria in may an were lucky with the warm and sunny weather (so we could use the nice pool, which is part of the villa, every day) and first of all it was not "overcrowded" - and we spent lovely and recreative days with children aged from 8 to 18........
