Almond Villa offers quality accommodation in a tranquil rural environment, yet just a short 10 minute drive from the popular and historic town of Paphos. The villa, which is south facing, was completed in 2006 and has been built, fitted and furnished to a high specification. The comfortable open plan lounge and dining area is light and spacious and overlooks the pool. The kitchen is fully fitted and has views across an almond grove. There are three good sized double bedrooms and three bathrooms. Additionally there is a separate family/reading/games room. Externally there is a Roman style pool, an outside dining area with table and chairs and further seating areas at ground floor level and on the spacious first floor veranda with its stunning views over Paphos to the sea beyond. The living area and all bedrooms have remote controlled air conditioning and for added comfort the bedrooms also have remote controlled ceiling fans. For cooler winter evenings the villa is fully central heated.

Almond Villa is located in a quiet cul-de-sac on a development of 4 villas in the small hillside rural village of Armou. Its elevated position above Paphos means that it is less humid than the lower coastal areas & benefits from a welcome breeze in summer. Armou is served by a main road giving easy access to Paphos (10 mins), the beach resort of Kato Paphos (10 mins), the airport (15 mins) and the main highway to Limmasol, the Troodos Mountains & the rest of the island. There is a taverna and small local bar in Armou, popular local restaurants and a mini market in nearby Konia, with Paphos's pretty harbour, beaches, many restaurants & bars also within easy access. Paphos's UNESCO World Heritage Archaeological site is a 'must see' visit, & for golfers there are three beautiful 18 hole golf courses all within 25 minutes drive.

  • Prices shown are for Saturday to Saturday bookings. A premium may apply for bookings for other periods.
    Payment Terms: £150 per week deposit to be paid at the time of booking to secure reservation. The balance, plus a security deposit of £200, to be paid 8 weeks before commencement of rental.
    For winter months (November to February) full central heating is available at a supplement of £10 a night.
  • A welcome pack will be provided on arrival, and, if requested, the property will be cleaned mid-stay for guests staying for 14 nights.

In particular they can arrange for dedicated taxis to meet guests at either Paphos or Lanarca airport and take them to the Villa which is recommended for after dark arrivals in view of the rural location of the villa. Tsada, a spectacular 4 kms drive from Armou through the hills, was the first championship course built in Cyprus, whilst Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills (20kms along the Paphos-Limmasol Highway) are both challenging courses set in stunning locations.

good place to stay

really enjoyed the villa, well equiped, very clean, The air con and the pool added to the relaxing quality of the holiday. Really is a short drive into Paphos, with lots of restaurants and bars. both near the harbour and along the Tomb of the Kings Road.( visit fatmamas and cowboy willy's restaurant a fun place to go, if you have a special occasion, tell the staff see what happens ). There is a bus top sight seeing tour that departs from the car park near the harbour, well worth it, to get your barings and have a bit of history thrown in.

If going to Cyprus again, would definately bear this property in mind.

Wonderful Villa!

We were all very impressed with this villa. It is built to a high standard, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. We are a family of four and stayed for four weeks in August 2009 and the villa totally lived up to our (high) expectations. The villa is ony a 15 minute drive to Paphos and its beaches and is situated in a very quiet village.
We definitely recommend it and will consider returning to Villa Almond ourselves.

Peace, Relaxation and Tranquility

This is the second time my wife and I have visited Almond Villa, Armou with it's character, peace and tranquility drawing us back. The villa itself is situated in an idyllic location, away from the hustle and bustle of Pathos but within easy reach. Nestled in the hillside village of Armou with views extending across the valley and surrounded by Almond and Olive trees, Almond villa has it all. Not only is the surrounding area relaxing, but the villa itself is very inviting. Beautifully decorated it has that home from home feel. From the moment you step foot on the front door, the holiday begins. The rooms are spacious, light, well decorated and extremly comfortable. It has all the amenities you could need. From the TV room with books, games, music and dvd's and an amazing view from the balcony, to the spotlessly clean bathrooms, making you feel as though you are living the life of luxury. Every bit of care and attention has gone into the details right down to the welcome pack bursting with help and information. The pool is perfect, crystal blue and spotlessly clean. What better way to end the day then relaxing in the warm sun in the pool. The gardens are well maintained and loved giving you the feeling that this is not just a holiday home but a home where the owner wants you to love it just as much as they obviously do. Close by the local tavernas are welcoming, with great local food, alcohol and character. Almond Villa is also perfectly situated for easy access to Pathos or take a drive to other areas of the island. All in all we would highly recommend Almond Villa and plan on returning again soon.

Excellent - from beginning to end!

This is a truly beautiful villa. It is modern, spacious, thoughtfully furnished and equipped, and offers luxurious accommodation in a convenient location. The gardens, terrace and pool were well maintained and perfect for sun worshippers as well as those of us who seek out a little more shelter! We've been lucky enough to find gorgeous villas in many places but this one is amongst the very best.

Armou is an ideal spot for easy access to Paphos, beaches, wineries and the Troodos mountains as well as the motorway that takes you eastwards to the island's other main cities.

You'll find plenty of good tavernas within easy reach. For great food and a wonderful Cypriot welcome try Kostas' Taverna opposite the Savvas Pottery at Koloni. Alternatively Atrion Restaurant in Kato Paphos is great, as is the taverna in the Old School House at Anavargos (recommended to us by the villa's delightful next-door neighbours).

Finally, we'd add that the owner gave us top-rate service - polite, helpful, friendly and efficient - and little touches like the Welcome Pack just added to the all-round pleasure of this holiday experience.

If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday with a touch of luxury, Almond Villa is for you!
