This well furnished Villa enjoys marvellous views and is located in the hills nearby Silves. The Villa is ideal for very large parties wishing to holiday together yet maintain a degree of independence. There are a lot of terraces and a very big pool. The first floor has three bedrooms two of which are twin bedded a separate kitchen two bathrooms and a super lounge. On the ground floor there is another bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. This house is surrounded with a lot of terraces with a music system and a attractive beautiful garden which is ideal to laze in the sun. The barbecue is near the swimming pool. Villa Mirador: This Villa with it's incredible fantastic views and luxury is in the hills near Silves. There's a beautiful garden and fruit trees are landscaping the valley. Within 15 minutes driving you have beautiful beaches excellent golf courses a big lake etc. This is an ideal location for those seeking tranquillity and relaxation.

The Algarve: In the south of Portugal there's a Paradise with the nicest weather in Europe landscaped with flowers famous for it's beaches and golf courses. The coastline stretches for over 150 km, from the Rio Guardiana, on the Spanish frontier in the east, to the windswept Punta the Sagres peninsula in the west. Given the sheer number of beaches, from tiny coves to seemingly infinite ribbons of sand, it is a small wonder that over half of all visitors to Portugal choose to concentrate on this beautiful strip.

Silves: This historic city with it's famous castle, supermarkets, nice restaurants etc is 15 minutes driving from the house. In the centre of Silves is one of world's most famous fish restaurants 'Ruhi'.

Golf: Golf facillities are tremendous in the Algarve The most famous golf courses from europe are within 15 minutes driving from the house. The Algarve is one of Europe's premier golf areas. There are currently twenty-five courses in the space of 100 miles of coastline, with more under construction. All Algarve courses are withinone and a half hours drive of Faro International Airport. Over the last years the Portugese Open has been hosted variously at Penina, Vila Sol and Sao Laurenzo, all of wich may be included in list of top European.

A Wonderful Holiday

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful two week break in Villa Mirador in June 2008. The villa was well equipped with a large kitchen and living area as well as the stunning outside eating area complete with bbq, gas hob and pizza oven.

The downstairs self contained flat was a bonus as it gave the grandparents some privacy from the children.

We had a lot of fun in the pool and the mountain breeze was very welcome during the long hot days.

The nearby town of Silves has the most wonderful places to dine out from the simple but delicious Piri Piri Chicken cafe to the delicious fresh seafood restaurant.

I hope to return someday.

Herrliche Villa inmitten von Obstplantagen

Die Villa ist top ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts.
Der Pool ist schön groß, daneben steht eine große Palme, das macht den Anblick noch schöner.
Die Lage ist eher einsam, aber manche mögen das ja.
Im Mai sind die Orangen, Mandarinen, Zitronen... die rund um die Villa wachsen reif (sehr lecker).
Man hat einen rundum-Blick in die Weite, bei klarem Wetter kann man sogar das Meer in ca. 12 km Entfernung sehen.
Zum nächsten Ort (Silves) fährt man 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto. In Silves gibt es die besten Fischrestaurants von Europa!!! Und trotzdem billig!!!
Für 5,- Euro kann man das Tagesgericht (Fisch mit Beilagen) essen. Der Rotwein ist überall sehr gut, leider muss man wieder mit dem Auto ans Haus zurückfahren.
Da nimmt man sich am Besten eine Flasche mit zurück
;-)
Wir waren mit 7 Personen dort und werden bestimmt wieder hinfahren.
