Two Golf Courses on the island of Sao Miguel. Both equally spectacular, scenic-wise and challenge-wise. The Batalha course supports a 27 hole, par 72. Approximate distance 12 km or 15 minute drive. The Furnas course is an 18 hole, par 72. Approximate distance 35 km or 45 minute drive. Batalha Golf course hosted the Senior European golf tournament in 2008.
