Llado Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Three spacious and comfortable cottages in a peaceful and charming little village, built using sustainable criteria such as rain water collection and grey water purification used for irrigation, solar energy, cross ventilation systems, vegetal roof…
The houses integrate perfectly in the landscape thanks to the rounded edges and the green roof which starts from the ground and goes up to the top simulating a hill. All the rooms in the house are very spacious and bright with big windows in all of them. We wanted to make a place where you could feel the nature from any room of the house, to give you the feeling that you are living outside but with the comfort of being inside.
The houses are surrounded by gardens and each house has its own private terrace. Each house has a fully equiped kitchen, a living room with fireplace, two triple bedrooms (one with a doble bed and a single bed and the other with three single beds) and a very special bathroom with a garden inside!!!
There is also a swimming pool on site.
It is ideal if you want to relax with a good book, lay in the sun, go for walks or cycle along the many paths that surround the village and you may also be able to swim in the clear water of one of the many pools in the river.
- children welcome
- wheelchair accessible
Why Salut Martí Olivé chose Llado
We are a family with two daughters and some years ago we decided to look for a peaceful and beautiful place for our daughters to grow up and thrive. After one year going around and visiting different villages we found the place, we fell in love with Lladó the first time we drove into it.
LLadó is a beautiful and cosy village with warming people who make you feel at home right away. However, what caught our attention from the very first moment was the amazing countryside, the beautiful views and the ideal location, where both the sea and the mountains are really close. The diversity of its landscapes is its wealth. This is a place where in the same day you can go for a walk in the mountains and then go for a swim in sea. Still now, 15 years later, we feel privileged for living in such a place.
