My name is Georgina and I own Villa Georgina (thats me above on one of my visits) with my family. When we bought the property it was a shell, with no interior fixtures/fittings and where the swimming pool is, there was just a big field with grass and trees. The property was renovated using Croatian craftsmen for all the work, and the swimming pool was installed using a local craftsman in Tar.
We love this property and come twice a year . As its our own holiday home you will see that we have lots of personal stuff that makes it look nice and we hope that you will also appreciate the nice touches that we have in the property. The village we like very much as there is lots of local places to eat and everything is within easy access. The local people are also very nice and we know some of them now.
Georgina purchased this house in 2006
We love this property as it is in the heart of the village, and used to be an old bakehouse. We have tried to retain the character to the property but with a personal touch, and with all modern appliances to make your holiday memorable.
Lovely stone walls.
A large alcove in the lounge where the oven used to be for making bread.
Two access areas, at the back with large barbeque and shade from the sun where you can relax and eat.
At the front the swimming pool with lounging area, car parking for two cars and secluded gates which you can lock when not around for safety.
Central heating and air conditioning.

> Dear Georgina,
> we spent our honeymoon in your wonderful and confortable house in Tar. We were absolutely excited about this house with its fantastic pool and the terrace with the stone-grill. The interior of the house is amazing and it takes all you need for a carefree stay. We enjoyed every single day. The service from Arlen was very good. We had a problem with the garage-door but it was fixed quickly by Goran.
> We would like to spent more vacations in your lovely house

Location Location Location. Perfect!! The interior of the villa has every modern convenience of a very high standard. Spotlessly clean. The added bonus was the lovely large swimming pool. This lovely villa is set in the pretty village of Tar. No need to travel far as food shops, bank, bars and restaurants all in walking distance. The highlight of the village for us was the bakery.Fresh bread and yummy cakes daily.
The harbour port of Porec is only 15 minute's away. Smart restaurants and high end shops galore but very reasonably priced.
This is our fourth stay in this villa we like it that much.
This Istrian villa is perfectly equipped and very well maintained! The pool is serviced twice a week and once a week the bed sheets and towels are changed. Each room is air-conditioned and very tastefully renovated and furnished. The location of the villa is perfect. The area of the villa is fenced and there is also a parking space inside the fence. In Tar is a supermarket, a butcher, a fishmarket, a vegetable market, a bakery, a pharmacy and a number of very good restaurants. In the neighborhood you also can buy very good wine and very good olive oil. At the tourist office of Tar you get an free entry permit for the Lanterna area. We would not hesitate to come back to this beautiful villa in this quiet and well-kept place. A family from Vienna, Austria.
The House of Georgina in Tar is very stylishly renovated and well equipped. Each room is fully air conditioned. From cutlery to washing machines, everything is available. Even an iron and an ironing board you can find. The location and infrastructure of Tar are excellent. In the village there is a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a hairdresser and some very good restaurants. Here you can spend a great, relaxing and very stylish holiday. In the tourism office of Tar can acquire a free access authorization for the area of Lanterna. All in all a great holiday! A family from Austria.
That was our first vacation in Croatia and I believe we do it again. Country, People, House, Cleaning Personal, Pool Boy, Restaurants, Bars, Supermarkets everything was fine.
The Contact with Goran and his Office was in all points OK.
Thanks for a good stay in your property.
The House was very nice and we were very satisfied. Everything was in a good condition and the women, which are cleaning the house, did their job very well. Tar is a nice little village, where we could buy most of the things we needed. The house is situated in a small road with only a few traffic, so it was not too loud.
The nearby beaches (camp lanterna) are nice and not too overcrowded - even in the main season.
The agents of the tourist office in Porec were very kind and helpful.
Our holidays in Tar were very nice. We were in Istria for the third time and your house was really the best one.
We spent our holiday in Tar in June 2013. The house is awesome and location in the quiet small town is perfect for having a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It was very easy to make some trips by car to surrounding cities of Istria.
Swimming pool was extremely nice. Furthermore Lanterna beaches are close enough if you want to swim in sea.
