ABOUT THE HOUSE
The property used to be the old village bakery and has been sympathetically restored for modern living, but not detracting from the original stone features which are in abundance, including the features of shutters on the outside of the windows which can be closed to keep cool in very hot temperatures. Everything inside the property is in traditional Croatian stone, Italian tiled floors are throughout the property. All fixtures and fittings are of a modern design.

7 KUNAS PER DAY FOR TAX PER PERSON, AND 22 KUNAS PER PERSON AS A ONE OFF REGISTRATION FEE, THIS IS CROATIAN LAW. THERE IS NO TAX CHARGED FOR CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER.

Osijek (5 hours) Triest (2 hours), Marco Polo (3 hours)
Ryannair also flies to trieste from Birmingham.
there are othr airlines that fly e.g. KLM, Brussels Airlines, Croatian Airlines, but these are more expensive.
My name is Georgina and I own Villa Georgina (thats me above on one of my visits) with my family. When we bought the property it was a shell, with no interior fixtures/fittings and where the swimming pool is, there was just a big field with grass and trees. The property was renovated using Croatian craftsmen for all the work, and the swimming pool was installed using a local craftsman in Tar.
We love this property and come twice a year . As its our own holiday home you will see that we have lots of personal stuff that makes it look nice and we hope that you will also appreciate the nice touches that we have in the property. The village we like very much as there is lots of local places to eat and everything is within easy access. The local people are also very nice and we know some of them now.

We love this property as it is in the heart of the village, and used to be an old bakehouse. We have tried to retain the character to the property but with a personal touch, and with all modern appliances to make your holiday memorable.
Lovely stone walls.
A large alcove in the lounge where the oven used to be for making bread.
Two access areas, at the back with large barbeque and shade from the sun where you can relax and eat.
At the front the swimming pool with lounging area, car parking for two cars and secluded gates which you can lock when not around for safety.
Central heating and air conditioning.

VILLAGE OF TAR
Situated 1km from the sea and 6 km from Porec, Tar is a traditional Istrian village, with local communities and local industry. There is the local bakery, fruit/vegetable store, grocery store providing all the main supplies. There is also a post office, tourist office and many cafes and a few restaurants. There is also a great ice cream parlour/coffee shop and once a week a fresh fish stall. There are a few bars, and most provide food.
A beauty/massage parlour. Buses run from the village to Porec daily.
Porec is around 6 km from the village which is a fishing town and tourist area.
