Tivigny is just 15 minutes' drive from the Grand Anse shopping/restaurant area but feels a world away. Rural location, footpath to small beach. Motorboat, two ocean kayaks, Hobie Cat all included at no extra cost. Enjoy superb views over Clarke's Court Bay, Hog Island and to sea from every room. The infinity pool has a waterfall edge and 'wet bar' and is fenced with glass balustrades and gated, ideal for families with small children. Extremely spacious for a 3-bedroom villa. Each en-suite bedroom is airy, light and romantic, with louvre doors and windows, polished hardwood floor, ceiling fan, air conditioning and a balcony. A gourmet kitchen with all appliances offers a sea view, pantry, 2 fridge freezers and dishwasher. The Great Room has a high 'cathedral' ceiling of tropical hardwood rafters, plus 32' LCD TV, home cinema system, PC with broadband Internet and wifi. Short drive to Lance Aux Epines restaurants and Calabash Rhodes. One minute's walk from a secluded black sand beach with jetty, motor boat, Hobie Cat and two kayaks. A short distance by boat to Hog Island with its beaches. Water taxi available. Many restaurants within a few minutes' drive. Take your own private dinghy, 'Nipper', round the marinas in the bay with their informal bars and restaurants. Good hill walking. 20 minutes to La Sagesse beach and Nature Centre. Rum distillery 5 mins. Prickly Bay 15 minutes. Tivigny is just above the ocean with grassy footpath to beach. Water taxi service available from jetty by arrangement. Down a short country lane off good fast road leading to all destinations. Bus stop 5 mins walk with frequent buses into St George's. Car not essential - the buses are frequent.

Additional information about rental rates

  • NB: Rates shown are for sole exclusive use of the villa with one bedroom occupancy (2 adults). (Except Christmas/New Year - rate shown is for entire villa with up to 7 guests). Add $500/week for each extra bedroom your party requires. Book and pay before 1 February 2010 to avoid introduction of 10% VAT in Grenada. Until then there are no taxes or extras to pay. Your taxi transfer from the airport to Tivigny on arrival is included with our compliments. Depending on the number of guests in your party and their ages, we may request a security deposit. Rates will be confirmed at the time of booking and are subject to change. You are welcome to pay in £ sterling in the UK at the exchange rate prevailing at the time of payment. We also accept payment by PayPal subject to a 2.5% handling/commission charge.
  • Rates include housekeeper service Monday-Friday except public holidays (except for a single couple, housekeeping is normally provided three times a week).
    Unlimited use of the kayaks, motor boat and Hobie Cat is included at no extra cost. Sailing lessons can be arranged in advance at extra cost, please enquire at time of booking if required.
    Babysitting and/or some catering can be arranged, please ask for details and costs.
    Ask about car hire, tours, yacht charter, waterskiing, diving and other attractions!
  • Payments are accepted in sterling or US dollars, by bank transfer, Internet banking (UK guests only) or cheque. Sterling payments must be converted from the appropriate $US rate at the time of payment.
    We also accept payment by PayPal which includes options for credit card payment which can be used even if you are not a PayPal member.

Beyond Wonderful!

Our family spent 10 days in July at spectacular Tivigny House -- and we agree that this villa is above and beyond wonderful! We were impressed immediately upon arrival: fresh tropical flowers, the house and pool beautifully illuminated, even coloring books and crayons for our 4-year old and 6-year old children! This attention to detail and comfort enhanced the beauty of Tivigny. The house is spotless, and thoughtful details like local spice soaps and flowers in each bathroom made our family feel indulgent indeed!

The design of the house brings the outdoors in and we loved this! Views from literally every room in the house. Tivigny strikes the perfect balance of being spacious, yet comfortable, with lots of spots to find privacy or to congregate with larger groups.

Mark and Liz warmly welcomed us and provided for all our needs, including an additional children's life vest, so that we could fully relax and enjoy our vacation. We sensed that they truly cared that we have a trouble-free and fabulous vacation. It's not often that the owner of a villa is on hand, but we found that to be especially nice when travelling out of country with small kids. We felt we needn't worry about a thing!

There is so much more to say... Choosing Tivigny House is the right choice!

Even more beautiful than the photos suggest

Tivigny in a fantastic position overlooking the bay and practically every room has panoramic views of the sea. But despite its tranquil setting this villa is still within walking distance (just about) to local bars and restaurants. Tivigny is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated, and there are plenty of DVDs, books and CDs to borrow. The pool is stunning and the numerous sun terraces, balconies and verandahs allow you to have a different sundowner vantage point every night. But the best thing about Tivigny is the level of service provided to the guest. The kitchen is equipped with practically every gadget you could wish for - even a breadmaker - and the daily visits by Maudlin (the manager) ensure that guests want for nothing. Quite simply our best villa experience ever.

'An oasis of calm, beauty and tranquility'
Just a quick note to say how wonderful our stay in your beautiful house was. We seemed to enter a paradise as soon as we climbed the steep drive. The feeling of space and air was so calming . We loved the way you can feel inside when you are outside and outside when you are inside – a very clever design! Beautiful furniture and decoration all added to the experience. Views across a magical swimming pool over to a picture postcard sea. What more could one ask for in the Caribbean. 'The location is stunning'
Tivigny House is ideally located, just 10 minutes drive from all the supermarkets of Grand Anse, yet far enough away to feel 'away from it'. The location is stunning overlooking Hog Island and Clarke’s Court Bay. The villa itself is tastefully furnished, with the decor and attention to detail second to none. The house has exactly the right number of outdoor lounging spots for both getting to the sun, and getting away from it. The stunning views are from every room in the house, and particularly the infinity swimming pool, which sits ideally overlooking the bay and is stunning both night and day. The owners have ensured that nothing is left to thought, the service throughout our stay was second to none and I would highly recommend this villa to all. - Shaun Simons
