Villa Patricia, completed in 2006, is situated in a beautiful, peaceful location in the small village of Kaligata and is offered for rental again in 2009. This exclusive two storey luxury villa offers a very high standard of accommodation. The air conditioned property comprises a large living/dining area with two french doors leading onto a covered veranda with outside living and dining. The veranda leads onto lawned gardens and private pool area. There is a separate, fully fitted kitchen. Also downstairs, there is a ground floor shower room. Upstairs, there is 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, both en suite and with their own private balconies with stunning views of the Ionian Sea. The property has a private pool. Villa Patricia is a short drive from the airport and close to the blue flag beach of Avithos.

Villa Patricia is situated at the edge of the attractive village of Kaligata. The villa is surrounded by olive, orange, lemon groves and vineyards and is ideally situated for walking and enjoying the surrounding countryside. The village has a small general dealers and larger supermarkets are close by in the village of Svoronata. The area has an abundance of small traditional Greek tavernas offering a large variety of local cuisine and wine. Avithos beach is about a 15 minute walk away and boasts two excellent tavernas as well as a beach snack bar. Argostoli, the capital of the island, is a short 20 minute drive away with its many shops, bars, restaurants and other facilities including a ferry port. The villa is ideally situated to explore the many delights of this beautiful Ionian island.

Our English friends, who maintain the villa and pool, live close by and are available to meet and greet you at the airport. They have a wealth of knowledge of the island and can advise you on restaurants, places of interest to visit and local facilities and amenities. We do recommend car hire for your stay and we can arrange car hire for you either prior to your arrival or, following your arrival, our English friends will be happy to organise this for you.

We have nothing but praise for Villa Patricia, the owners and their next door neighbours who act as the local contact for the property.

The property was almost new when we visited in summer 2007, but we have little doubt that it will be maintained immaculately. The property itself is thoughtfully designed, beautifully presented, well equipped and comfortable. The air conditioning was a major bonus when we visited and the area was experiencing unusually high temperatures.

The villa is quietly located on the edge of a village only a short drive from the airport and the main island town. However do not be concerned about aircraft noise - there is none. It is about a 5 minute drive to the sea and several local restaurants and very well located for exploring the island.

The description of the villa is accurate and the owners are very helpful with any enquiries you might have. The neighbours who act on their behalf locally are unobtrusive but friendly and provide good advice on the area as well as maintenance for the property.

We have stayed in a wide range of properties over the last 20+ years and can confidently say that Villa Patricia was amongst the very best we have experienced. You can book with confidence.
