This beautifully furnished apartment is situated at Playa Flamenca and is superbly located 300m from 2 excellent family beaches (Blue Flag). Nearby facilities include a large supermarket, 2min walk, and the popular Playa Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre, with numerous bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes, within a 5 min walk. The new La Zenia Boulevard Shopping Mall is only a 10 min walk and boasts over 150 shops, outlets, bars and restaurants. The apartment is a perfect base for a relaxing holiday for sunbathers, golfers, couples and families alike. It is in the heart of a golfers paradise with courses at Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor within 15min drive. The world famous La Manga Golf resort is 45min away. The apartment, overlooking the pool, has a superb solarium with sea view.

The apartment contains a large open plan lounge, with Parisian balcony, dining and kitchen area. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin and a family bathroom. The large private solarium is reached via the private staircase and has a BBQ, large table with 6 chairs and sun loungers.

Golf: This apartment is within 30 minutes drive of 6 18 hole golf courses. Villamartin, which has previously hosted international competitions, Campoamor and Las Ramblas are all within 15 minutes. A 45 minutes drive south will take you to the renowned La Manga International Golf Resort. Handicap Certificates are required at some, but not all, of the nearby courses. All courses speak English. Enjoy all year round golf in pleasant surroundings coupled with a quiet and relaxing break by the sea. Murcia Airport has now extended its international flights to the UK and is 15 minutes from the apartment.

Beaches: The beach at Playa Flamenca is only a 5 minute stroll away. There are three Blue flag beaches only minutes away by car. Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Campoamor. Due to the wonderful climate all year round the Costa Blanca enjoys over 320 days of sunshine annually. Other beaches include Las Palmeras, Torrevieja and Torre de la Horadada. Most water sports can be found in the area. Most beaches have bars/cafes for drinks and light lunches.

Why Jane / Paul chose Playa Flamenca

We purchased our apartment in Playa Flamenca after enjoying many holidays in the surrounding area, both with our families and on our own. We felt that buying a property in this area would allow us to continue to holiday here, but with the added benefit of being able to travel when it suited us.

What makes this apartment unique

The minute we viewed this apartment we knew it was right for us, it is light and airy with a venetian patio overlooking the pool to one end of the lounge and a small balcony with sea view to the other. The grounds are excellenty maintained with tiled and grass areas around a clean inviting pool, and mature trees and shrubs throughout the complex.

The location of the apartment is ideal for us as it is centrally located in the Playa Flamenca area, with the benefit of being able to walk to all the local amenities, beach, supermarket, shopping mall, market, pubs and restaurants.

We felt that we had found our own little paradise!

Playa Flamenca is situated on the Mediterranean coast 6km south of Torrevieja adjacent to the N332 Alicante - Cartagena road. The area is surrounded by safe, sandy, blue flag beaches. The nearby town of Torrevieja is 28 miles South of Allicante on the Costa Blanca. This area boasts of 300 days of sunshine per year. Torrevieja is a typical Spanish Town, with an expanding harbour and marina. Torrevieja caters for all tastes with bars, restaurants, an aqua park, go-cart tracks etc., whilst Orihuela Costa is preserved for the more discerning family atmosphere. Explore Historical Orihuela and typical Spanish working towns close by.

  • Payment methods - cheque or bank transfer. Notes on rental rates - A 20% non-refundable deposit is required - minimum of £100 to secure a booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If your arrival date is within 8 weeks of booking date then full payment is required. Cancellation Policy - Up to 8 weeks of arrival date - no charge, 4 - 8 weeks before arrival - 50% of total payment refunded, 2 - 4 weeks before arrival - 25% of total payment refunded, Less than 2 weeks before arrival - no refund given. A £50 security bond is also required in the unlikely event of any breakages etc. Payable by cheque, which will be returned within 2 weeks of end of stay, provided keys are returned and there are no damages. The owner reserves the right to charge clients for damages, breakages or loss to the property caused by the client.
  • It is advisable that the Client obtains their own comprehensive insurance cover as the owner cannot be held responsible for injury, loss, damage, cancellations, etc. In the event of the owner cancels then all monies will be refunded. All information offered by the owner forms part of the booking conditions. Distances and descriptions are offered in good faith and these terms and conditions apply to all bookings and the client is deemed to have accepted these conditions.
  • Linen and house towels are included. Beach towels not provided. There is a charge of 50 Euro (for 4 people +10 Euro for each additional person) for cleaning after your departure. This is payable on arrival in Euro. On the day of arrival you will have access to the property no later than 4pm. We ask that on departure you vacate the apartment by 10am. If there is no arrival expected on your day of departure we can be flexible with the departure time. The final decision on this is with the key holder. Special long term rentals: Discounts given for rental of 3 weeks and longer. Please contact the owner with your requirements for further details. Airport transfers can be arranged with the keyholder who will meet you at Murcia or Alicante Airport.

Notes: There are 2 on site outdoor swimming pools, one with a baby pool. A fitness centre with jacuzzi is located across the road from the complex next to the commercial centres (including Mercadona). The apartment has lovely views of the swimming pool and communal gardens from both balconies. Our large private solarium is great for eating al-fresco, with barbecue, sun loungers and patio furniture, or alternatively ideal for relaxing and soaking up the afternoon sun. The lounge leads onto the balcony with sea views. It is an ideal location for a family holiday. Satellite TV is available in the apartment. A Spanish market is held every Saturday at Playa Flamenca offering many bargains. There are also large markets held in Torrevieja on Friday, Guardamar on Wednesday and even a 'Boot Fair' on Sundays at Guardamar where you can pick up authentic Spanish household items.

This apartment was in a fantastic location, very central. Very nice pool area and a great size roof solarium. The apartment was in walking distance to all amenities. Mercado supermarket 2 minute walk, Saturday market 5 minute walk and commercial centre was also a 5 minute walk.
There was an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants to choose from.
We enjoyed Busters which had nice food and cheap drink. The Indian restaurant think it was called agra is a must, food was really good.
We would recommend the property and the area.

My family and I ( 2 adults and 3 kids) have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay in this apartment. On arrial the apartment was lovely and clean, well maintained and so well equipped , we wanted for nothing! .The location is very good ,2 mins to the Mercadona ( supermarket) and less than 10 mins walk to the beach in Playa Flamenca we also walked to La Zenia beach which is a little further. A good tip to take packed lunch to the beach as the beach bars are not that good and over priced .The commerical centre offers lots of lovely restaurants and bars , this is also only 5mins away. We had some lovely meals at Vida, Goodfellas, Busters and the chinese New World is also very good. The Cetic Drop bar was livley with Karaoke and a great atmosphere. We also had a BBQ on the roof terrace at the apartment one evening, which is fantastic.The pool next to the apartment was great to relax by and the people very friendly. The owner and key holder have been very good in providing information and the whole booking of the holiday and arranging pick up from the airport and special requests for travel cot etc. went smoothly and without any problems at all. We will definately return, I would not hestiate to recommend this apartment to family and friends.

we have just come home from a 2 week stay in this apartment and we cant find a bad word to say about it!!! it is in the perfect location,has everything you would want at your own home and has some really useful touches. after staying 6 years in different apartments in this area we have definatly found the best we have stayed in and hope to revisit as many times in the next few years as our budget will allow,many thanks to the owners for a fantastic apartment......norman and noreen belfast june 20011
