Los Alcazares is situated in the Murcia region of south-eastern Spain known as the Costa Calida. With excellent road network, rail connections and two international airports, it is within easy reach of the UK and other European regions. Los Alcazares town is on the western shore of the famous Mar Menor, revered for its warm mineral rich water and health giving properties beside the Mediterranean and endless blue flag white sandy beaches. Golfers will be delighted that no less than seven golf courses can be found within easy reach. The superb 18 hole Roda Golf Course is only 1/2 mile from Vista Azul Villa. The renound La Manga golf course which has three championship courses is 10 minutes drive away. The area enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year. Bars, cafes and restaurants abound. The World Health Organisation recently declared the province of Murcia the cleanest area in Spain making it a paradise for bathers and water sports enthusiasts.

  • There are two double bedrooms on the second floor. The Master bedroom has a double bed with sliding patio doors leading onto a sunny balcony. The second double bedroom contains two single beds It also has access to the balcony which is furnished with a table and chairs. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with ample hanging and storage space. On the second floor there is a full spacious bathroom with bath and shower. To accommodate six people there is a very comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge on the ground floor. There is a full bathroom containing walk in shower on the ground floor also.

Stayed at this property in February, weather was 15 degrees most days. Cooler in the evenings which is where the heating in the villa was a huge benefit. Ideal property if you dont want to hire a car only a few minutes away from the airport, supermarket and the beach with its wonderful promanade. Villa was spotless and as described. I was able to book a bunch of flowers through Colin who looks after the villa and they were in the villa on our arrival. I cannot fault the area, property or service from Brenda and Colin her property manager.

This was the first time me and my husband had tried a self catering holiday so we were a little apprehensive prior to our arrival. We need not have worried. The care to detail and the service we had was five star. Brenda the owner had arranged everything through her agent Graham who was an absolute gem. He picked us up from the airport and took us the short trip into Los Alcazares and gave us a quick tour of the town and recommended places to eat etc. The villa itself was immaculate and well equipped. The memory mattress was amazing and we both slept well in this quiet little street. The wine, fruit and personal note from Brenda was a lovely touch. The villa was perfectly situated for us as it was within walking distance of all the central areas. We absolutely loved the area and did not even feel the need to hire a car, which was another first for us. I have to say that this was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. We plan to go back very soon but would definitely stick to the spring or autumn as the temperatures then are perfect for us. The promenade is so amazing that we walked for miles very day. We will probably hire a car even for a few days next time to explore the surrounding areas. Looking forward to our return to Brenda's beautiful home from home.

Having that extra space can make all the difference to ones holiday and the terraces and outdoor dining areas give guests a choice of sun or shade which is a real bonus.
I alwaus feel that one of the most important aspects of a good holiday is a lovely restful nights sleep in a really good bed, we had the help of almost the entire neighbourhood installing the new bed it last year, it has to be hauled up over the balconies.... but it was well worth it.

Hot and enjoyable fortnight

Hi Brenda,

Just a note to say thanks for the use of your villa in Los Alcazares. We arrived home yesterday after a very hot and very enjoyable fortnight!

During our stay I managed to accidentally break two glasses- I replaced them with 6 new ones though. The villa had everything we could possibly need, and Greame was a great help with the airport transfers etc. We will (and have already!) recommend your property in future!

Cleanest Villa ever

Hi Brenda,
Just thought I would drop you a line to say thankyou for allowing us the use of your villa.
We have stayed in numberous privately owned accomodation and yours was the cleanest and best maintained we have used.
We have no complaints about anything and Graeme was very helpfull and even came round just to make sure all was ok halfway through our stay.
