Beautiful views from the apartment across the 11th, 12th and 13th fairways to the new Marina and the coastline. This privately owned and maintained apartment has been letting very successfully for many years with very many satisfied clients returning again and again. It is probably the best value apartment on Amarilla Golf with a lounge, American style kitchen/diner, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and 3 balconies,for sun all day. Two of the balconies overlook the golf course. Plenty of other golf courses are in the area within 5 to 20 minutes drive. There are 2 swimming pools within a 100 yards of the apartment.

Nearest Airport: Reina Sofia at 6 Kilometres
Located in the south of Tenerife, on the Amarilla Golf Course. Five miles from Tenerife Sur Airport. Twenty minutes by car from Los Cristianos and Las Americas. This complex is an 18 hole golf course, with a par three course and a driving range. It also has a horse riding centre, the Rancho Grande. There are various restaurants, bars and a supermarket on the site and within an easy walk.

Property details: Having balconies to the east and the west it means that sunshine can be accessed throughout the day, and you can sunbathe from dawn until dusk. One balcony faces the golf course and the Marina and the other looks across Pebble Beach village to Mount Teide. Both are of good size. The two communal pools are within easy reach and you are convenient for all amenities. There is TV consisting of BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Sky Sports 1 & 2 as well as spanish channels.

Most sports as previously mentioned are available from within Amarilla´s confines.

Local Interest: Los Cristianos, Las Americas, Santa Cruz etc. can be reached by public transport which offer a very good service or taxis which offer very reasonable rates. Coach trips can be booked locally to Mount Teide, Icod, La Oratavia and other local places of interest. Also car hire is available at excellent rates. (Don’t forget the driving licence). Los Abrigos, a well renowned fishing village has excellent restaurants and other interesting villages are only a few minutes drive away.

Golf: Amarilla is an 18 hole championship course (Apartment overlooks the 11th and 13th fairways). Club facilities include:- Club house, trollly and buggy hire, tuition, driving range, putting green and a pitch and putt course. A well stocked golf shop, superb and friendly clubhouse, restaurant and snack bar. Other courses includes:- Golf Del Sur (adjacent to Amarilla), Las Americas, Adeje, Real Club De Tenerife, Los Palos (Par 3) and Las Roseleda (Par 3).

This is a very pleasant apartment with excellent views across the Golf course and down to the harbour.You can get the sun all day round (if you are daft enough to want that) although the views from the rear bedroom are only across a large cleared building site at present.Lack of a fixed parasol on the front terrace prevented us from using it most of the day.

The apartment had plenty of room for the two of us but some people might find it a bit cramped with 4/5 occupants especially if they were adults - but it would still be excellent value for money.

In spite of the poor state of the £ we found plenty of good value places to eat - recommend Big Al's - and you can get a pint for a £ in many bars during the day.

The golf at Amarilla is the cheapest on the island (although the long distances between the holes makes a buggy really essential for all but the fittest) and the course is in the least good condition - but we enjoyed it very much and may well come back.

nice apartment, good value. very well equipped especially kitchen. The apartment was very clean and well maintained, please give our thanks to the cleaners for their help. It was wonderfull to have the choice of 3 balconies, and the use of 3 swimming pools. The only downside for us was that there is no double bed, this is the only reason it may not be our first choice for our next stay. The only other thing that would have improved our stay would be cushions for the sunloungers. We do know this area quite well but perhaps for guests that do not it would be good to have a little more area information particularly a map showing locations of the shop, swimming pools and bus stop.

a relaxing week in the sun

I stayed at this apartment with my boyfriend in early march 2008. Whilst parts of the golf are clearly still under development, we did not find that the building works to the rear of our property impacted on our stay. We could not hear the building works when relaxing in our apartment and used the pool near to the building development most days of our stay with no concern. There are some lovely views onto the golf course and marina and the apartment was clean and spacious. We shall definitely be returning and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Its what's behind the apartment that is the worry, and definitely not shown in the clever pictures! The apartment was in the middle of a building site, with screeching diggers starting at 6.45am till 6pm! There were 2 areas within earshot and eyesight that had active building work on them and one large area of mud, and debris, no doubt soon to be built on. Clearly we couldn't enjoy the pools or balconies, which was a shame as they were lovely. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Owner's Response: This apartment has been letting very well through Holiday Rentals for the last 6 years. We have had nothing but praise both of the apartment and its outlook in our Guest Comments Book. The whole area of Amarilla Golf has been going through a complete make over and most of this work is nearing completion. Both immediately before and after this clients stay the comments book was filled in by those clients expressing complete satisfaction with their holiday. We have no hesitation in advertising this apartment as seen in the present advertisement along with its photographs.
