On the doorstep of Monte-Carlo its panoramic views are stunning by day and night. An excellent choice for visiting the Formula 1 Grand- Prix race in Monte-Carlo & Monaco's other famous sites. (10/15 min walk) A modern tastefully furnished, well equipped villa close to all amenities. One can relax on the terrace, in the gardens or at the heated pool all over looking the Mediterranean sea and Monte-Carlo. The villa is 2 min drive or10/15 min walk to the beach in Monaco or 4 min up hill to the village of La Turbie with its local market , bars, restaurants, boulangeries & shops. Monte-Carlo Golf course 'Mont-Agel' is minutes away. Day trips to Italy, Nice, Eze village, Antibes, Cannes, Frejus, St-Tropez are very easy, either by car or by train from Monaco.

VILLA DETAILS : We have tried to make the house as luxurious and homely as possible. There is a wealth of local information available on restaurants, markets, walks, days out for families etc. Individual 40sq m lounge & 21sq m kitchen completely separate from the 4 bedrooms. Cooling fans are provided for every bedroom for your comfort. In the secluded garden there is a fenced swimming pool (although, young children will still require supervision). Breakfast can either be eaten by the pool or on the terrace at the front of the house both with wonderful panoramic views overlooking Mediterranean sea and Monte-Carlo. Once inside the gates your privacy is guaranteed.

FOOD & DRINK: Food and drink In Monaco, there are a wealth of bars & restaurants, with every cuisine possible. Spectacular fish & Italian restaurants and an excellent restaurant producing regional fare, all very reasonably priced. Live cabaret shows and superb firework displays in summer with open air Cinema in English. In the quaint medieval village of La Turbie local cuisine restaurants & bars.

GOLF & OTHER SPORTING ACTIVITIES : Sporting activities in the area are abundant, one has tennis, swimming, fishing, horse riding, bowling, many water sports and the beach. Monte-Carlo Golf course 'Mont-Agel' is minutes away an 18 hole-golf course created in 1911, one of the most beautiful on the Côte d’Azur. Situated 900 m. above sea level with breathtaking views of the sea. Your handicap must be max 35 to use this golf course, the green fee is €90 per day. The ski stations of Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are approximately 1 hour’s drive away, for winter sports.

This villa is exactly as the description describes. It was immaculate inside and out and the owners provided a large welcome and were available to answer any queries at any time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, the best villa we have ever rented. The views were just stunning and the garden a picture postcard. The beach in monaco was great fun, lots to do for the kids, as was the port of Monoco. Very international, everyone spoke english. Thanks for a great holiday!

Excellent

We love this villa so much we keep going back!!!
We have stayed 3 times to date!!! July 07 with the children, April 08 with friends for the Monte-Carlo tennis Masters & July 08 again with the kids.
A real paradise, the perfect place for a wonderful culture filled holiday.
Excellent value for money, Monte-Carlo at an affordable price.
Charming owners, stunning views from every angle of the villa, garden & pool.
The pool is completely closed off (under lock and key, so to speak) which made us very at ease with the children.
We are now booking G.Prix 2009!!!

We had a lovely 2 weeks at this villa Aug 2007

The Villa itself is perfect, five star!!! Very clean, with all your main requirements. You can see the sea and Monaco from every room terrace, garden and Pool. The area is quiet and yet so close to Monaco. The secure parking is very useful.

The location is great - and particularly good if you enjoy holidays where you want to get out and about to explore the local region. It is easy enough to walk down (steep path) into Beausoleil and Monaco, also up to La Turbie also very convenient for exploring other parts of the Riviera.

A good base for those who like to 'do their own thing'. We did a mixture of eating in/eating out, days lazing around/days out visiting nearby towns and places.
Recommended for: Romantic Getaway, Sightseeing 1 all ages.

A Nightmare

We stayed at this villa last August with some friends and it just went from bad to worse.
The owner, Vanessa, found some reason to "call in" to the villa every day! On our second day there she decided to cut the lawn while we were trying to have a peaceful lunch, and another day she appeared to water the plants while we were having dinner. She even turned up one day when she thought we'd all gone out, but got a shock to find that some of us were still around the pool!
We couldn't use the oven because the glass in the door was broken and we couldn't put anything heavy in the fridge because the door was unsafe.She also allowed her dog to run around the villa unsupervised.
On returning home we received an email from Vanessa accusing us of having an unauthorised guest in our party. We have no idea where she got this idea from - nor why she didn't challenge us while we were there. We would have loved to have seen where she thought we'd put them! Never in a million years would we have done such a thing. She witheld money from our deposit as payment for this unknown extra guest. Please make sure that she checks your passports while you are there and ensure that she agrees that you are all present and correct! She claimed that she didn't check our party in when we arrived as we were all "too tired"!!
The villa itself is in a lovely position and the views are spectacular, but I'm afraid that the owner shouldn't be renting it out if she doesn't trust the holidaymakers!
Holiday-Rentals were made fully aware of this complaint.
