RELAX IN LUXURY MINUTES FROM THE SEA & A SHORT WALK TO PAPHOS HARBOUR

Kato Paphos Apartment Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedrooms, 1 shower room, sleeps 4

Luxuriously furnished in a very modern style, this 2nd floor penthouse apartment is perfectly located in the peaceful Limnaria development. Blessed with sunlight throughout the day, the balcony overlooks the quiet, beautiful, and well-maintained gardens, with a large communal swimming pool with showers and extensive sunbathing area. The 2 bedrooms, leading off a separate hallway, are on the cool side of the building and separated from each other by the shower room with a large, fully enclosed shower. The main bedroom is equipped with stereo Hi-Fi . There are beautiful, cool, ceramic floors, fully remote-controlled air conditioning units and ceiling fans throughout. The spacious and exceptionally comfortable lounge diner is equipped with stereo Hi-Fi with facility for MP3 players, a selection of books, and TV with Sky & DVD player. A fully equipped kitchen completes this superlative apartment, ideal for taking advantage of the enviable, warm, Cypriot climate, for a most relaxing holiday

Cyprus: The third largest Island in the Mediterranean is a place of legends that basks year-round in the light of the warm Mediterranean sun. A history 10,000 years old that has seen civilizations come and go, and the likes of Alexander the Great and Cleopatra stake their claim here. Aphrodite made her home on Cyprus, and travellers throughout antiquity came here just to pay her tribute. Today Cyprus is a modern country that effortlessly marries European culture with ancient enchantment. Here you will discover a compact world of alluring beaches and fragrant mountain peaks, vineyards studded with olive trees and ancient ruins that stir the imagination, citrus groves and old stone villages where sweet wine flows as freely as conversations at the local taverna. A carefree place where a sense of timelessness is magnified by the warmth and kindness of its people, where Greek and English are spoken with equal ease.

Paphos Shopping: Paphos itself has the best climate on Cyprus; mild in winter (typically 16 - 20oC), cooled by sea-breezes in summer, and with well over 300 days of sunshine each year. It should be no surprise, therefore, to learn that the local shops, markets, restaurants, tavernas and the like, are open all year-round, unlike many other resorts on Cyprus. Local handicrafts are many and varied, from traditional pottery, woodcrafts, copperware and filigree silver to leather goods, folkweave, needle and crochet work, and the beautiful 'Lefkaritika' or 'Lefkara Lace'. Men's suits and shirts can be made-to-measure within about a week, shoe shops sell modern styles at very reasonable prices, Cyprus brandy, Commandaria and even Halloumi - the Cyprus cheese, are also popular favourites.

Diving Information: There are several local dive centres within between 2 and 10 minutes walk from the apartment. Fantastic dive sites for all levels, from submarine cliffs with pinnacles, tunnels, caves and overhangs to famous wrecks such as H.M.S. Cricket, the Diana, Three Stars, Pharses II, Zenobia, M.V. Habe and a British copper bottomed Man ‘O’ War. An abundance of marine and fish life can be found all over the area. Beautiful coral fans grow on the roofs of the caves and inquisitive baby Grouper watch you enter and leave. Hand-feed Grouper, Bream and Bass and be inundated with thousands of smaller multi-coloured Wrasse and Damselfish. Morays, Congers and Octopus are frequently seen and interacted with, and large pelagics have been sighted, as well as schools of Amberjack, Tuna and Barracuda.

Guestbook comments from the manager
Just wanted to say that we had a fantastic time in Paphos – your apartment was fabulous and we respected your wishes and treated it as if it were our own (wouldn’t have done any less). We had a lovely relaxing time, sat in the sun and dipped in the pool. The facilities were excellent and there was nothing more we could have asked for in the apartment – you have made an excellent job of making it feel homely and you obviously took great care and attention when furnishing it – I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back in the future and would recommend it to friends/family if we know of someone looking for accommodation in Paphos. It makes a totally different holiday from the ones spent in small apartments booked through tour operators (when often you are making up beds in the lounge every night – which is less than ideal with teenage sons!). It was quite like home from home from the minute we entered the front door.

Holiday Review - July 2008

  • 5 of 5
My family (2 adults + 2 teenage boys) stayed at this lovely 2 bedroom apartment (Limnaria Villas) in July 2008. The apartment is furnished to a high standard with all the creature comforts one could wish for.

The complex itself is excellent if looking for a very relaxing holiday. The large pool was also excellent for cooling down during the long hot sunny days.

Nearby there are some fantastic restaurants and family friendly bars...the location was perfect.

The owner (Ian) provided excellent instructions and was a pleasure to deal with.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to friends & family...an excellent holiday / experience.

Fabulous!

  • 4 of 5
As a family of four with two young children the Limnaria Villa was a wonderful place to stay. The location was close to all amenities and attractions but far enough away to give us some peace and privacy from the bustle of the tourist market.
The property was clean and well maintained with added extras such as sun lounges. Ian was an excellent host providing prompt feedback and good local knowldege of the area. On his recommendations we were able to secure car hire at very reasonable rates. It was a pleasure to commincate with Ian as he was always very helpful.
We would highly recommend this property. It was difficult to leave Paphos and Cyprus. We would most certainly stay in this property again.

Wonderful apartment

  • 5 of 5
We are a family of four and have stayed in lots of privately owned holiday apartments before, but were really impressed by the high quality and cleanliness of this one. It is a good size and a real home from home, with lots of personal touches and amazingly comfy beds! The view from the balcony over the pool is wonderful!

The apartment is in a fantastic location, close to so many restaurants we were spoilt for choice. We enjoyed strolling down to the harbour, but also hiring a car enabled us to easily explore many local attractions including mini golf, Coral Bay. Aphrodites Rock and Paphos Old Town - all close and worth a visit.

Ian has been extremely helpful from the moment we booked his apartment and provided us with lots of information to help to make our holiday a success. We hope to return to this apartment and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Excellent information, very clean & comfortable

Excellent information, very clean & comfortable

Dear Ian

We have stayed in a lot of apartment and villas in Cyprus,Canaries and Portugal and your apartment was perfect , true to the advert ,close to the harbour and spotlessly clean.

I think the DVD's you suggested would be great for winter stays.

Janet did a great job of cleaning and we had a lovely chat with her. It was also nice to have list of neighbours and they were very helpful with the AC,

Roy really enjoyed reading the manual and relayed lots of history and facts to me over dinner. I think what makes a good holiday rental is information, clean and comfortable accommodation and being able to enjoy the surrounding area without too much travelling especially in the summer months.

We feel that there is not much you could improve and the only problem we had was we had to come home!!!

Thank you once again, we had a wonderful holiday our first without the children 17 and 19 yrs old it took us back to our honeymoon in Cyprus in 1989. We ate out every night and to be honest Paphos harbour is my most favourite place I have ever visited, we will be back.

Lovely Apartment

  • 5 of 5
My family including two teenage daughters stayed at the apartrment in July for two weeks.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and very well equiped. The lovely balcony was a pleasure to sit during the evenings.

The complex is very clean with the gardens and the pool well looked after.
The only minor irritation was the lack of sunbeds available for guests around the pool. We found these usually reserved very early in the morning by people who more than often did not use them until the end of the day. The plus side is that it is worth going to either the local beach or the harbour beach for a change.(we got to meet more local people that way). However Ian does have two sunbeds in the apartment that we were very grateful for.

The location is excellent for the harbour and nearby shops and restuarants.

We personally would recommend Michaels Cypriot restuarant close to the complex and Chloe's Chinese restuarant in the harbour.

It was a pleasure to deal with Ian who was very informative at all stages and I can confirm that his description of the apartment is very accurate.

I would certainly not hesitate to recommend this lovely apartment to anybody.

Fabulous Apartment

  • 5 of 5
We have enjoyed a wonderful week in this apartment.

We were there from Aug 27-Sept 3 2006.

We are regular visitors to paphos (previously we have stayed at the Aloe) and know the area very well. And having been there 2 years ago when this complex was being built, we were interested to see how it had been finished.

This apartment was fabulous. Really spacious and exellently furnished.

We had a great time and will definately be reccommending this apartment to our friends and family in the future.

We found that the owners(who don't rent) were really helpful on a whole.

We will definately be returning to Limnaria Villas very shortly.
