Welcome to Oknö and to Seglarvägen 18, which is just a 30 min drive from Kalmar and Oskarshamn in the south-east of Sweden. The house has 3 bedrooms (twin), a fully equipped kitchen (Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer) and living/dining room areas. There is also an outdoor terrace with furniture and a BBQ. Nestled by the Baltic Sea and close to popular swimming areas, as well as a tennis court, mini-golf and a convenience store. Oknö Island is the perfect location for a relaxing family vacation... Children: Children are welcome. We also have a cot and high chair available for infants. The garden is not surrunded by fench so adult supervision required. Please note the roads are limited used around the area. Playground close by with swings etc.

No Smoking inside - No Animals: In the interests of our non smoking guests, smoking inside the house is forbidden. Please use the outside terrace or garden. Animals are not allowed due to allergy!

Booking notes: If booking more then 60 days in advance, booking fee of 50% of the total rental amount is applicable. The booking fee should be paid 10 days after confirmation has been sent. The booking fee will be deducted from the total rental amount. The remaining amount should be paid at least 60 days prior to your arrival date. Booking less then 60 days prior the whole amount should be paid within 10 days from the reservation date. A £100/€150/SEK1500 fully refundable deposit is required, which will be refunded in full subject to no breakages/damage. If you cancel more then 60 days prior to arrival, payment is not needed and a repayment of any paid amount will be refunded. If you cancel less the 60 days prior to arrival, the booking fee will not be refunded (50% of the total rental amount). However, the deposit will be refunded. If you have paid in more then what you owe for the rental period, you will be refunded the difference.

We rented this house in August in 2009 it is really beautiful and clean and we had the most relaxed vacation you can imagin. In the house is all you need, you name it and it is there. Also very important is that the beds are (new) boxsprings and you have a good sleep on it. The hospitallity is great, you can use all there is and when you use something, you refil it. All the furniture is very good. The Nature is absolutly beautiful and you have squarels and rabbits in the garden. Nearby there (walking 3 minutes) is a playground for children very clean and all playthings are new-looking. And of course the water is nearby to have a swim. We would recommend this property to everybody, a compliment to the owner.
Owner's Response: Property refurbished less then a year ago, perfect location for families, couples or just friends for a holiday getaway. Close to Kalmar, Oskarshamn, Glass Kingdom, Pippi Longstocking's home and other interesting sites.

I higly recomend this house, very nice surroundings, suitable for families or couples.We have a very nice weekend in May 2009.

A perfect place to relax

the description was accurate. The house was was very proper and well-maintained. The equipment was loving, you could feel like at home!
We liked most the silence of the island, the nearnaess to the sea and many possibilities for making trips. We could discover a little part of a wonderful country and a great nature! That was exactly what we wanted!
For our children the visit of "Astrid-Lindgren-Värld" and the Elk- park were the best attractions.
So, of course we recommend this property to our friends.

Wonderful House to Rent

This house is located in a prime location near the Baltic Sea, where you can enjoy swimming, boatingor exploring the surrounding areas. The house is well maintained, fully furnished with all the amenities that you would need to make your stay pleasurable, it's like being in your own home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.
