On the prestigious Platinum (West) Coast of Barbados lies Holetown, with a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Apartment 66 is situated on Cordia Avenue is one of four apartments that make up a single storey condominium on a residential avenue. The Caribbean Sea and palm fringed beaches are only a five minute walk away. For those who prefer there is a swimming pool, which you are able to use, at The Beach House Restaurant also five minutes walk away.

At the entrance to the apartment is a covered veranda with dining table and chairs plus space to sit and relax. An ideal place for breakfast or spending the evening.Louvered doors lead into the lounge.

The lounge is comfortable and tastefully decorated. There's a sofa, 2 armchairs, bookcase, coffee table, wine rack & large fridge/freezer. There is a hi-fi for cd, radio and connecting mp3 players.Also,a telephone for free local calls.

Air-conditioned in bedroom. Portable electric fan for elsewhere. Tiled floors throughout.

Please note that although there is not wi-fi at at the apartment, the majority of bars, restaurants and the big shopping centre offer free wi-fi.

PERFECT PLACE TO STAY.

We just returned from a month staying in this apartment. It was exactly as described, very comfortable, nicely furnished, clean, and central. It was easy to contact the person who manages it out there, and the location was perfect. Lovely lush green outlook, and it's quiet yet walk a100yds and you're in the centre of Holetown. The supermarket is less that 10 minutes walk away, the beach only a 5 minute walk. Lots of lovely restaurants. Everything Holetown has to offer is on your doorstep. We'd go back tomorrow if we could, and for 2 months next time. We liked Chris's Bar and Variety store. It's a chattel house at Rock Dondo, can't describe it, but it's a bar/restaurant/shop, excellent food, and soooooo friendly. The whole island is a friendly place with contented people, makes for a real holiday. Try it.

PERFECT BASE FOR A FABULOUS HOLIDAY!

Fabulous holiday apartment in the heart of Holetown! It is perfectly placed - only 5 mins walk to the beach or the private seafront pool at the Beach House restaurant. It is also very near to the supermarket and shops and a variety of lovely bars and restaurants.

The apartment is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is set off the main road by a couple of streets so is really quiet offering a great balance of proximity to the nightlife and the ability to lie in to get over one too many rum punches :o) The only thing which might take a bit of getting used to is the tiny tree frogs which are surprisingly noisy in the evenings!

The owner gave us an information pack which recommended some great restaurants and local bars, but also the names of a really reasonable and reliable car hire firm and a fabulous catarmaran cruise company who offer small cats meaning you get to enjoy an authentic cruise, rather than one of the larger party cruises where you fight for space.

We'd definitely recommend the apartment to anyone and will definitely be back!!!

WONDERFUL STAY IN LOVELY APARTMENT

I would highly recommend this apartment for a cost effective break. It's compact, but with everything you need for a relaxing stay and a very comfortable stroll away from the beach and well-stocked supermarket.

The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, with plenty of spare linen and towels for the duration of the stay.

I had the garden at the back to myself for the entire stay, which was lovely - it's a great spot for sitting and relaxing. The little covered porch at the front (with dining table and chairs) is the perfect spot for meals.

Definitely worth getting some mosquito coils to burn during the evening, both inside and outside - like elsewhere on the island, the bugs in the evening are vicious.

Communication with the owner was efficient and effective - and there is a local contact to call if there are any problems throughout the stay.

Highly recommended and would definitely return!

Barbados is 21 miles long by 14 miles wide. Holetown is located halfway up the West Coast.There are numerous restaurants & bars in Holetown all within walking distance of the apartment. There is also a shopping centre with a large supermarket plus various other shops.A car is not necessary but it is fun to hire & drive around the island taking in the beautiful & varying scenery.Car hire can be arranged for collection from the airport or delivered to the apartment.Buses leave Holetown going all over the island & are regular & cheap and there are many taxis. To the north is the 'Scottish' district - rolling hills, small mountains, rainforests.To the east lies the rugged Atlantic coast. To the South there is the capital Bridgetown ,further on past the south coast beaches is the famous Oistins Fish market and further still many secluded bays and beaches along the south east coast.

The international airport is approximately 30 - 40 minutes drive away. Taxi costs approx £20
