April House is a very attractive Ibicencan style rustic cottage situated in a quiet rural location outside the charming village of Sant Josep yet only a few minutes by car to many beautiful beaches.It is surrounded by local countryside with its own pool offering fabulous views down to the sea. Privately located within the grounds of beautiful Halcyon Villa (4350). It has its own parking, pool, pond, & BBQ area set amidst palm trees & countryside.Lovely sea views from the pool. The property is decorated, furnished & equipped to a high standard. The bedroom is very large, double aspect; with a king size four poster bed & double doors leading directly to the pool.There is a lovely wood burning stove for those evenings in, & large radiators to ensure warm & cosy nights. The village is 2 minutes by car, has cafes, bars, restaurants, church, post office, banks, pharmacy & little boutiques.April House is the perfect place to unwind, relax & enjoy Ibiza with a home from home feeling.

Bed linen, towels and hairdryer are provided and a weekly maid service. Linen and towels are changed weekly.There are a good selection of DVD's available should you fancy an evening at home! Ibiza undiscovered: A magical Island out of season. Warm weather, quiet beaches, wonderful walks and an array of birds and wildlife. Pretty local villages offer cosy restaurants. Many will make up fresh 'bocadillos' for your picnics.Go cycling for the day around the small island of Formentera, just off the coast from Ibiza town, and discover even more remote beaches, white sand and aquamarine sea. Ibiza is a great way to escape, try it! Sant Josep is one of the prettiest villages on the island with it lovely white washed church and attractive cafes and restaurants. There is also a bakers, small supermarket, post office, banks, pharmacy, doctors and dentist plus small boutiques and elegant gift and art shops.

There's Ibiza and then there's Ibiza

The idea that we were going to spend a week in Ibiza (albeit in Ocober) was greeted with some hilarity by our friends who never saw us as an enthusiastic clubbers. Easy to find from the airpport, April House is part of the other Ibiza, quiet, relaxed, and rural. Just outside Sant Josep, the casita itself is spacious, well-equipped and self-contained and fun. Customer care was excellent!
While it,s easy to take the (not overly-frequent) bus into Eivissa, we would strongly recommend a car to explore the island, its beaches and villages. And just in case you decide you do want to join the 10,000 others at Privilege. Nothing's too far away on Ibiza - that's one of its delights - April House is another.
Strongly recommended - we hope to be back..

I'd highly recommend April House for any type of Ibiza trip. Living space is extremely generous for 2 people and we were quite happy relaxing in the house, pool & BBQ area for full days. The facilities are second to none - kitchen is equipped better than I have at home! Very high quality and comfortable furnishings designed with lovely taste.
Added to this San Jose is within walking distance which was my favourite village on the island with good places to eat & drink while watching the world go by, and as with any small island everywhere else is easy to reach.
MaryAnn & Steve are really friendly and helpful but do not disturb you unless you want them to.
Already counting the pennies to when we can go back!

We had a wonderful week in April House - it really is as it says on the tin...but so much better. Very romantic and unlike many similar places, it was rustic yet included all modcons such as a fully equipped kitchen! The pool and setting were also fabulous. Do make the walk into the village in the evening - it takes only 10 min, far less time than you'd think and, equipped with a torch, we felt quite safe walking on the pathway to the side of the road. The owners of April House recommended some really lovely local restaurants - so do listen to what they say.

incredibly relaxing week

We spent an incredibly relaxing week at the wonderful April House cottage and wished we could have stayed longer! It is a little "out of the way", but that's the way we like our vacations. The view is amazing and there's a lovely deck to enjoy your morning coffee from. The owners are helpful and attentive but stay out of the way unless you ask for assistance. We recommend this place very highly!
