CHARMING DETACHED HOUSE CLOSE TO LONDON UNDERGROUND TUBE AND WIMBLEDON TENNIS

The lodge is advertised as a charming 3 bedroom lodge with Cable and wi-fi, I would disagree with all of the above.

The lodge appears to be an after thought with relatively little living space and substandard furnishings.

The living space was limited and poorly furnished, the kitchen which has seen better days had a dining table slotted in which made the space very tight reducing the space to move around the kitchen and uncomfortable to eat in should you wish to do so.

The large bedroom immediately inside the living room is a good size, however the quality of the bed in the 2nd (Master) bedroom was poor.
There are 3 bedrooms at the location however the 3rd is located through an area primarily used for storage and was not initially available, there is a 2nd bathroom next to the 3rd bedroom though not included in the rental due to be used by occupants of the other part of the house.

The advertised wi-fi facility was eventually supplied after 3 days with cable eventually supplied in one of the 2 bedrooms after 4 days.

With regards to service the owner of the lodge was out of the country therefore communication was a challenge as was the standard of cleanliness and service hence 3-4 days to resolve issues.

If your aim is to be close to Wimbledon Tennis / village though not concerned with comfort then consider the lodge, if you are looking for a location where you could stay comfortably and invite friends to visit I would look elsewhere.
