The great thing about Méribel-Les Allues is it's a real, living, thriving community. It's a traditional & pretty village & the capital of Meribel Valley. Chalet La Bergerie overlooks the village.Linked by gondola & free ski bus in just 10 minutes & 4kms from the centre of Meribel & central of Les Trois Vallees. The Three Valleys is snow sure mid December-end April. The largest ski area in the world, over 200 linked lifts & over 600kms of marked & well groomed pistes. Ski back to the chalet from Jan-March all the way from Tougnet (2,700m) to the village, in one decent, on a pretty long blue run, or off piste.
Also ideal for sunny & warm summer holidays. You are in the Vanoise National Park, with 200kms of hiking & mountain bike trails. Other summer activities include river rafting, canoeing, paragliding, adventure parks, swimming, ice skating & 18 hole world class golf course. Or try the more leisurely pursuits, fishing, swimming or lunching on the mountain.

Ski: Meribel-Les Allues is the centre of Les Trois Vallees, (the Three Valleys), the largest ski area in the world, with 204 linked lifts & over 600 kms of well groomed pistes. The Meribel Valley alone is vast & linked to Couchevel, 1850, 1650 & 1300, Mottaret, Val Thorens, St. Martin du Belle-Ville, Les Menuires and now the 4th valley of Orelle accessed from the top of Val Thorens via one of the highest ski lifts in Europe. Skiing is suitable for all abilities with good green, blue, red & black runs, & off pistes, for snowboarders, Meribel & Couchevel have snow parks. Non ski activities include snow shoe walking, husky sled riding, ice skating, bowling, indoor swimming & beauty spas.
The pretty traditional village of Les Allues is linked by Gondola & free ski bus. It is smaller than Meribel town, with a friendly atmosphere, without crowds. Nearest airport, Chambery, serviced by Flybe & Jet 2 from, Soton, B'Ham, Exeter, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle & Norwich & new Globespan from Edinburgh.
