This large, luxurious, self contained and air conditioned apartment is part of the best resort @ Mermaid Beach, a magnificent only 4 year old complex which is one of only a few resorts in Australia to have achieved the highest 4.5* rating. The main bedroom has a beautiful ensuite and the superb 1st floor terrace overlooks one of the 4 lagoon style heated pools, through beautifully landscaped palm trees. There are also 2 x 25 metre heated Lap pools, for the keen swimmers. There is a licensed cafe & wine bar, 4 heated spas, sauna, beautician & masseuse, 2 floodlit tennis courts, cinema theatre, 2 gymnasiums etc. Add to this the dozen bar-b-que areas and It is the most wonderful surroundings for both families and individuals to have fun and relax without having to leave the complex. However, just 300 metres away is Mermaid Beach which runs for 20km and a short stroll 2km further down it is the world famous Surfers Paradise beach. There are also many excellent shops and restaurants nearby.

Australia's Gold Coast is the most sought after area with visitors for many reasons. Firstly, its sub-tropical climate means it is warm all year around and even in mid winter, rarely falls below 20# c. Our apt at Mermaid Beach is right at the heart of the Gold Coast playground with some wonderful destinations around us: Sea World, Wet & Wild, Dream World, Movie World, Gold Coast Racecourse, Jupiters Casino, the huge Pacific Fair shopping centre as well as many Marinas, Yacht clubs and world class Golf Courses etc. In fact the majority of it is built on inland waterways from the ocean, so constant beautiful water views are in abundance whilst travelling around. The local Swimming Pool, Miami Olympic, about 1km away has 2 x 50 metre outdoor heated pools and you can have daily coaching sessions from beginners to advanced, as well as water aerobics and water running etc. Immediately outside the resorts front door, you can catch regular buses to and from most of the Theme Parks.

GETTING TO THE COMPLEX: If you fly into Brisbane International Airport, which is approx 60 kilometres away, you can catch a Skytrain from the airport to Robina Station, 5 kms away, and only a short taxi ride to the resort. Alternatively, if you fly into Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta, approx 10kms away, again a short taxi or bus ride to the resort. Hire cars are also readily available at both Airports if required.
