|Minimum Stay||2 nights|
Ideally located in the historical centre of Paris, in the heart of the busy shopping district of Les Halles (1st arrondissement), this modern, 2-rooms apartment will surprise you with its calm, luminosity and high-quality, comprehensive equipments.
It can thereby become a quiet place for your professional stays or host a 4 persons family in tourism visit (5 with a baby bed that can be easily added).
This apartment is located in a pedestrian street of Les Halles district, on 3rd floor, with lift.
It offers a nice sight on Beaubourg-Georges Pompidou and the top of the Eiffel tower.
It is very close to several transport networks: 3 subway train and 4 Metro lines.
It is less than 1 km away from the greatest monuments of the center of Paris: Notre-Dame, La Conciergerie, le Louvre, Beaubourg, etc.
We had a great stay in this apartment! The day we arrived the police had blocked the road and we had to park a bit far, Sandrine was kind enough to come meet us and helped us carry our luggage to the apartment. She was extremely helpful and there was also a guide provided to us at the apartment in both french and English that explained everything we needed to know. We mistakenly used the safe in the apartment and locked it, when we called Sandrine she sent Charles on the same day to fix it. They were extremely helpful in every way possible! The kitchen was equipped with everything, the wifi was of high speed, they even provided me with a high chair for my infant! The location was great right outside the door was the metro and les halles shopping center, unbeatable location! Cafes and crepe shops everywhere! I cannot recommend this apartment enough. The only downside was a bit noise from the street at night but for me it was okay it made me feel safe, and also it is a pedestrian road so there is no way to come with a car right to the door you will have to do some walking with your luggage. Other than that it was 5 star service from Charles and Sandrine throughout our stay!
My husband and I spent a month in this apartment. It is bright and cheerful and the location is superb. Because of my husband's health issues, I cooked most of our meals there, lacking nothing. When he napped in the afternoons, however, I was walking along the Seine or some other exciting part of Paris. We felt secure in the building and there is a safe. From this location, I pushed my husband all over Paris in his wheelchair. Charles and Sandrine were quick to respond to all of our needs. I want to mention that the bed was extremely comfortable and I am very picky. It is bigger than a U.S. queen but smaller than a king. We slept great! I also loved having hot water for the bathtub and fast internet. Public transportation is right outside the door, linking you to anywhere in Paris if you don't want to walk. Cafes, shops, and restaurants are buzzing with people in this area. Within the block are also many places with walk-away, inexpensive meat-filled crepes or panini's. We happen to stay during the coldest, rainiest April Paris had experienced in years. Still, it was a great time and I was sad to leave. Because my husband is a stroke survivor, we go to bed quite early. It was chilly enough at night that we could shut the windows and block out the lively street noise fairly well. I am not sure how it would be in the summertime, though. Sandrine brought us a fan for the few very hot days we had. That helped to block out some street noises and we also played "thunderstorm" sounds on our iPad's sleep application. There is a lot of beautiful sunlight coming in the windows of this cheerful apartment, but also very good wooden blinds to block out the sun and heat if you prefer. I loved just looking out our tall windows at the Parisians scurrying to work in the morning or enjoying themselves below at the sidewalk cafes during the evenings. Sometime I wanted to pinch myself to believe it was real. I would return and have already recommended this place to several friends. For me, the only negative is that because we spent more time in the apartment than most tourists would, we could have used cushions on the dining chairs and better pillows for the new sofa (not pictured). It is now a much better second bed than was in there before, but it is one of those from IKEA that has a really deep distance from your back to your knees. That can cause you to slouch if you don't have good pillows. Our bed pillows helped. Overall, we loved it!
The apartment is in a perfect location for cultural Paris. We found it confortable and will take it again.
