Located in a very quiet pedestrian street, in the heart of the old town, the apartment has a balcony overlooking a garden of condominium, facing the mountains. A room on the ground floor will allow you to deposit bicycles or skis. The market of the old town, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, where you will find specialties and market gardeners of the region will enchant you. You will be able to take advantage of the proximity of the city center as well as that of the lake and the surrounding mountains where pleasant walks await you. Free parking nearby (10 minutes on foot, towards the lake).

Great location
This is a nice apartment in a great location on a quiet street near the lake. There is no air conditioning, but the weather was cool while we were there. The owner was great to work with, and quickly answered all of my questions.

We loved our stay here, and would happily stay again. It was the perfect location for our needs.
My sister and I loved our experience here. The garden looks like an impressionist painting by Delacroix; rustic, colorful, and beautifully artistic. We had lovely chats with the gardener. The sun rises just beyond the snow-tipped mountains in view from the terrace. The larger-than-life view is also visible at the apartment entrance door and the kitchen window. You can bask in sunshine from 7 AM to lunch while you eat at the outdoor table. The kitchen is a pleasure to work in. The bedroom is quiet at night. We slept like babies. The cross-breeze from the bedroom and kitchen window was wonderful. The bed is a comfortable double. It does not split into two twins. The owner offers you a choice on the contract to either pay for bed linens and bath towels or bring your own. The final cleaning is also a choice. The bathroom is meticulously clean and accommodating, with plenty of hot water. The water pressure was strong. The property is in a safe building on an ancient street, with lovely, welcoming neighbors. The street is on an incline, so we got our daily workout. It's a two-minute walk to the city center, on the quieter side of Annecy. Once we realized how Annecy works, we were so happy we picked this location. The entrance to the building is on the ground floor. You walk through a hallway towards the garden and then up one floor via a stone, circular stairway. The street is pedestrian-only, but at certain times of day, you can pull your car up to load and unload. There is metered parking a short walk away, and a good parking garage a little further up the road, across from the Castle. We purchased a Forfait ticket at the garage, and with that ticket, could come and go as we pleased with our car. The Monoprix grocery store is a seven-minute walk away. The Intermarche grocery store with gas station is a three-minute drive. On your walk to Monoprix, you'll pass four famous bread and bakery stores along the way. We ate like kings and queens. The owner and the apartment manager do not speak English, and my sister and I do not speak French. With Google Translate and simple sentences, we managed. The owner requires a signed contract to confirm the reservation, a non-refundable bank transfer deposit (unless she can re-rent the unit), and a security deposit on arrival. All of these transactions went well. This owner proved to us that she can be trusted. We promptly received our deposit back when we returned the keys. We would happily stay here again.

Great location
We stayed in this compact apartment for 6 nights. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, it was comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. The arrangements for occupancy were unclear and problematic for us as we are not French speaking . Arrangements could have been made alot easy and simpler as the person meeting us lived nearby.

Wonderful Romance
We enjoy visiting and living in a location, not just staying in a hotel. This property was wonderful. Extremely well-located, accessible, and exactly as described. The property was immaculate; we were greeted promptly and provided immediate access upon arrival. Within blocks were a farmer's market, endless restaurants, nightly street musicians and artists, and strolling along the lake. One of us is an avid cyclist and the lakeside biketrail is an awesome artery for reaching the great climbs of the Alps. Checkout was timely and the people who we met were wonderful. Highly recommend if you wish to experience Annecy as a resident of the town.

Location idéale
L'appartement est très bien placé, lumineux, en zone piétonne très calme, à 2 pas du centre touristique. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps exceptionel et des températures estivales si bien que nous avons bien profité de la terrasse ensoleillée avec sa vue sur le jardin fleuri et la montagne derrière, idéal pour prendre le café ou l'apéro. L'appartement est très bien équipé, très propre et joliment rénové. La description donnée dans l'annonce conforme à la réalité.
