Perfect loacation

Steve_Sj Sweden
Review Submitted: March 10, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
We stayed 3 nights in this apartment and we really enjoyed our visit in Valencia. We were 4 persons and the apartment was perfect with two bedrooms (double beds). A small kitchen and a big livingroom suited us very well. In addition to that a very nice balcony that offer us sun all day long.

The location was perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the city centre and close to Supermercados so that we could enjoy fresh bread every morning.

Finally we have to praise the landlord, David, who was really pleasant and helpful.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the commendations.
I'm really pleased you had such a great stay and managed to enjoy the best of this city's greatest assets ie; beaches/historic centre etc with such ease.
This location benefits from all the city centre amenities one expects at the doorstep. In addition the easily accessible Historic city centre - being so compact does not offer the choices of the larger 'value' supermarkets and cheaper local bars. Although the Centro Mercado (El Carmen)with 900 stalls...a pleasant stroll away - really is worth checking out.
The 'icing on the cake' of this apartment is the delightful south-facing exterior balcony adjoining the large bright living room with it's pleasant outlook - you can really enjoy our great climate to the utmost (300 + days of wonderfull sunshine!) - whether in or out.

December Break

Jean and Sidney Bristol, England
Review Submitted: April 2, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We really enjoyed our stay, it was more like staying in a home rather than a rented apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable and ideally situated for the 'old town', shops, metro etc. and it was lovely having the little balcony for sunny mornings and lunch. David was very friendly and helpful and we felt at home straight away. I think the only downside was having the wardrobe in the living area but it certainly wouldn't put us off renting it again or recommending it to others.
Owner's Response: I am very pleased that you both had a most enjoyable stay at my apartment. It's a fact that Calle Sagunto has some of the best value (according to the Levante & Valencia News, March 2009) supermarkets and local shops and just 2-3 minutes walk away (which the old city/El Carmen lacks due to limited space and higher rentals). Calle Sagunto leads directly to the main entrance of the old city - so it really couldn't be easier to really enjoy the best this charming city offers.

Originally the apartment was a 3 bedroom family apartment and to benefit from a greater living space the 3rd bedroom (originally the largest) was sacrificed to give a larger and much more comfortable living/ding area thus really enjoying its great outlook (unusual in most city-centre apartments) afforded by such large patio windows on to its delightful sunny balcony. The slight downside being that the overly generous fitted wardrobe is positioned as mentioned by Jean and Sidney.

Review Submitted: March 2, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We really enjoyed the convenience and comfort of your apartment in fact we spent more time then intended 'at home' because it was so comfortable particularly with having the balcony which really was an added bonus.

We shall tell our friends back in Paris and intend to come back soon.

Our family trip to Valencia

katiebristol bristol
Review Submitted: November 14, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
I booked this apartment for my mother, myself & 4 yr old son. It was comfortable, equipped with everything we needed & with just enough space for a family of 3. The local food shops are great & all within a few minutes walk of the front door- Deli, Patisserie & supermarket. Just 5 mins walk over the bridge to the old town with great restaurants, unique shops & tourist sites. Getting the tram to the Malverossa beach ws also great fun, so quick & easy. We had a great time & would stay again
Owner's Response: Thanks for the endorsements.
In addition to the easy quick and value metro tram service for the beach etc there is now a direct bus service along the Palm fringed avenue to the Nueve Centro (Valencia's largest inner city shopping precinct) adjacent to El Cortes Ingles and the city's Estacion de Autobuses for all national connections and local including Bonaire, which is purportly Spain's largest out of town shopping Mall - certainly it's best value and choice. Travelling time 5 mins.
