Beautiful cottage on a private lane at the edge of town. Walk to gourmet restaurants and boutiques. Sunny days, sunset views of the meadow, and quiet starry nights.

The rooms are immaculate, newly redecorated in a simple but luxurious style. All the amenities for a carefree island stay are included. One level living is perfect for families with young children or mature vacationers. The deck is large, and overlooks a private lawn which is suited for croquet or badminton. Enough off street parking for your vehicles and bicycles.

This is the rare town rental where the places you want to go are close, and yet the quiet of the island is also yours. Walk or bicycle to the beach. Stroll to historic sites. Enjoy a lobster dinner on the deck. This house is ideal for families, reunions of friends, or a romantic getaway. Guests want to come back year after year.

Nantucket is a wonderful family place, great for gourmet food and peaceful vacations too. The waterfront and beach are amazing, and the people are welcoming and always interesting.

What makes this house unique

Quiet sunsets, private yard and patio. Close enough to town for walks, and yet far enough for privacy. We have had parties on the deck, crab races,and wonderful gatherings with friends. A great place for a weekend or reunion.

Walk to the Beach, Tour the New Whaling Museum, or Join Nantucket Sailing, lovely walking paths and tours of the historic district. Gourmet dining at numerous independent restaurants. Transportation is easy with taxis, bus, and a short walk into ttown.

lovely, comfortable home-away-from-home

Calm, enjoyable indoors & outdoors. Special comfort features I liked: kitchen well supplied; handy laundry machines; outdoor shower: so nice after the beach!

The house is so spacious, as is the front & back yards. I especially liked being able to walk to historic places, as well as the movie house, & eating places. A bus stops near enough to make the way "home" easy, if I get tired of walking.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

"Beautiful home, immaculately clean. Perfect for a restful getaway. Spacious yard and nice deck too let us really enjoy the outdoors. Great location - close to town but away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend!"
