The long sandy beach & promenade on the edge of the Mar Menor (very safe for children) is only a 10 minutes leisurely stroll away. For golfers there a number of courses within 15 minutes drive. 5 minutes from Murcia & 50 minutes from Alicante airports, both serviced by low cost airlines.

Pure dead brilliant

Thank Elma and Bob for a lovely apartment. Everything had been thought about, down to minor details: no need to bring plug adapters or hair dryer, all provided. The apartment is comfy, even down to the beds and pillows. The rear balcony was good, even in March when the temperature never went over 25 degrees: always somewhere to be out of the sun, although spent more time on th sun terrace, which in the high to summer would still be good as there is plenty of shade when needed.

Los Alcazares, for us, is brilliant. We go in March and October (first and hopefully more in this apartment). We enjoy going for long walks and stopping periodically for a coffee or cool drink. The 7k promenade is great - no hills to climb and only a small step onto the beautiful beach. We love stopping at Momentos, San Juan or Chinqunitos when walking along the prom. Also a walk over the bridge to Roda is a bit different, although only one small cafe during the day and Campbell's bar at night.

In the evening, we like stopping at either Le Petit Bistro or The Celt for a drink before heading out for a meal. Plenty of places to eat: Run, Asia Star, Fresco, Veni and Rosalind's for a steak. Never had a bad meal. Penny Farthling is great for breakfast and lunch.

The markets on Tuesday and Saturday are great to walk around: with a bargain to be had.

The Spanish equivalent of the Red Arrows are great watch, if they are out over the Mar Menor.

We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone

This is our third visit in 3 years the apartment has everything you could think  of and more. The roof terrace is a bonus both day and evening. Communication with the owners excellent, they have thought of everything. Close to amenities, beach, supermarkets etc I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

First Class apartment on great complex

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment on a quiet and well maintained complex. Loved the roof terrace, sat up there most afternoons. Great for drying your washing as well. This was our third visit to Los Alcazares and we enjoyed it as much as the first. Love walking along the promenade early in the morning and having a swim in the Mar Menor after breakfast at the Hotel Enacarcion. We have already booked to return next year

Lovely apartment in El Divino

This was the second time in two years that we have stayed at the El Divino Complex in Los Alcazares and it was every bit as good as the first time.Spotlessly clean and well maintained the apartment has excellent wi fi and sky TV. The apartment is among the best we have stayed in and we especially loved the roof terrace which is lovely and secluded and where you can chill out to your hearts content. The fact that small details, such as the provision of power adapters, has been thought about says a lot for the standard of customer care. We really like the complex which is well maintained and we also love going back to Los Alcazares which has excellent and cheap restaurants and also a really laid back and welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend the apartment to anyone and hope to visit again next year to Los Alcazares which is a hidden gem as far as we are concerned.

lovely apartment in fastastic location

This was a lovely, well appointed, very clean apartment. The roof terrace was fantastic for evenings. The area is fantastic, beach very close as are shops supermarket and loads of lovely restaurants, The El Divino complex is beautifully kept, the pools are lovely and were never overcrowded even though we were there in August. This was our second holiday in this area and we love it. The kids were never bored. The boat trip to la manga was a real highlight, we had a lovely day.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone, Bob made all the arrangements for transfers etc and all went perfectly. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Fantastic 2 week holiday in 5* apartment!

Immaculate apartment, well maintained and very clean. Attention to detail was superb. All home comforts. Small details like sockets near mirrors appreciated. Everything you need in the kitchen and lounge. Lovely comfy bed. Spent early mornings and late evenings on the balcony and relaxed on loungers on roof terrace with option of shade, provided by awning. Home from home in the sun. Overlooks the pool. Very safe and secure. Pool and grounds well maintained too. Minor issue sorted swiftly. Bob and Trevor easy to contact. Close to Plaza with lovely bars & restaurants, supermarkets and beautiful beach. Lovely unspoilt area. Would highly recommend this apartment....we have already booked to return next year!!

(An information pack would be handy, opening times of supermarkets, tourist train, bicycle hire etc, to appreciate all on offer in area).

Fantastic two weeks holiday. Can't wait to return.

Just five minutes' drive from Murcia airport, the apartment is pleasantly situated in Pueblo Patricia - a quiet residential area of Los Alcazares. Key in 'El divino 131 Los Alcazares Spain' into Googlemaps for location. There are two swimming pools surrounded by garden areas in the complex-exclusively for residents' use. The excellent Mercadona supermarket, located at the start of a pedestrian shopping/entertainment complex which leads to the sea, is only five minutes' stroll away. The beach is 10 minutes' stroll away through the complex, which boasts shops, bars and excellent restaurants. A four-star hotel is now open here. A lovely walk along the wide beach-front promenade takes you into the town centre of Los Alcazares, which still retains its Spanish atmosphere. Here you will find more excellent shops, bars and restaurants. Worth a mention is the hotel on the seafront 'El Balneario - La Encarnacion' which has thermal baths, a lovely garden patio for drinks and a great restaurant.

Both bedrooms also have two bedside tables with drawer space. For your comfort at night, the bedrooms have Air conditioning (heating and cooling) and 3-speed, silent ceiling fans. Mosquito proof screens are fitted to both bedroom windows allowing you sleep with the windows open if preffered to using the Air-con. In the cooler months the air conditioning unit is supplemented by an oil-filled radiator. The master bedroom has a window and a small door which leads directly on to the balcony. Bedroom two has a large window. Both bedrooms have large mirrors and conveniently placed electrical sockets - good for hair-drying / make-up application! Bed linen and towels are provided. Guests at the apartment have full use of the communal garden area beside the pool. The kitchen and lounge are well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery and ample glasses. On the roof terrace, there are two ropes for drying clothes, in addition there is a small, portable clothes airer which can be used indoors or placed on the balcony. There is a good steam iron and ironing board. Welcome packs with essential items can be provided on arrival, minimum cost £20. Local satellite TV system giving all the British terrestrial channels BBC1,2,3,4, ITV etc. films and some sport . Spanish freeview channels are available on the TV/DVD player.There is a CD player with USB jack (take all your music with you on a memory stick) with a stock of DVDs and Cd's. In one of the drawers in the lounge, you will find some maps and guide books of the local area. The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival and all linen and towels are freshly laundered. New for 2014, free broadband WIFI.
