What a find!

This apartment can only be described as possessing the WOW factor!!
We recently returned from Uzes, where we found that this cosy apartment was conveniently situated just around the corner from the atmospheric Place-aux-Herbes - wonderful place to drink coffee and people watch.
We enjoyed our week with friends in this amazing property, which is very spacious, clean and beautifully furnished to a very high standard, with extremely comfortable beds. The lay out of the property is such, that there is adequate privacy for two couples sharing.
Shirley, the owner, a very pleasant and friendly person, met us as arranged, and organised a pass for the underground secure car park, which was we found very useful after a day of sight seeing in the area.
This was our second stay in Uzes, and the convenience and flexibility of self catering was favoured, particularly at this time of the year. The apartment was certainly a very welcome place in which to retreat each evening.
The property has many restaurants, patisseries, a mini market, together with green grocers, butchers and enticing gift and clothes shops close by. The large weekly market each Saturday, and a smaller one on Wednesday, are not to be missed.
We have stayed in many properties over the years in France, and this one would certainly be one of the best. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to those who seek something a little different.
The only thing we could find missing from the apartment was a blender .My friend and I are both keen cooks, and we would have loved to been able to make some soups from the ambundance of good quality vegetables available in the town.
In our opinion Uzes, is an excellent place for a winter break, or to be used as a base from which to explore the delights of the region.

Owner's Response: Dear Geraldine,Barry,Cliff and Violet,
There are staff on the premises - and I normally say " If there is anything you need, just ask"(I cannot remember if I said that or not ?) People often ask me for a certain cookery book, bandage, bathing cap etc.
I have even been asked to take a splinter out of some ones toe !
Anyway-- I'm off to buy a blender for the apartment.
Best Regards and thank you for the review.
Shirley.
