Gite awarded 3 Epi by the Gite de France label, owners in the neighbouring house, built on two levels, wonderful landscaped setting, separate entrance. The property is located in a small Norman village nearby Argentan. Sport and activities are offered. As soon as you arrive, you will really enjoy the air quality in this beautiful protected area. The romantic garden is a must-see and is the result of the intense passion and the great taste of the owners. The river and its two basins run between the shrubs, the ryegrass and the rare bulbs in this colour-coordinated garden. You will immediately feel enchanted while strolling across this 8000-sqm dream area. Pascale will share her passion with you and may initiate you to the varieties and plantations of this garden where no white rabbit is to be seen. However, the rumour has it that on some Saturdays you can catch sight of a white-robed bride enjoying the sun.

Location: Normandy < France

From Argentan, take la Rocade toward Alençon, then the D15 on the right on 3km toward Putanges. After the bridge with the railway, go on the right, drive across the village and our gite is the last house on the right after the bend. You will find a supermarket at 5min from the gite and plenty of small markets in the surrounding villages. Go and visit the castles: chateau d'O, de Sassy, or de Carrouges. Go and see the lac de Rabodanges and its water attractions, the Haras du Pin and its displays in season. The Mont Saint Michel is at 2 hours' drive. The wonderful La Roche d'Oêtre site and its activities, the Lace House in Argentan, the Lace House in Alençon, The Normandy Landing Beaches, the museums in Caen and the Queen Mathilda's Tapestry in Bayeux are at 1 hour's drive from the gite. Horse riding and ponies courses offered on the neighbourhood, hiking and riding, swimming-pool etc. Discover the gastronomy and the famous cheeses: Livarot, Camembert or Pont l'Evêque.

We rent this gite all year round. The minimum stay is 7 days (one week) and goes from Saturdays at 4pm, to the departure day at 10am. For the other seasons, possibility to rent the gite for a minimum of a weekend, available from Friday at 4pm to Sunday before 7pm. High season rates for Easter, Ascension Day, Labour Day, Whitsun, Christmas and New Year's Eve. We also make our gite available for various festivities organized at the Haras du Pin, please ask us to define the rates according to the number of people. We pay attention to every particular case at the occasion of a party, a family gathering, etc. Our gite is vast so do not hesitate to ask us. We put everything you may need at your disposal for short-term seminaries. We also make accommodations available for companies and their staff, do not hesitate to get through us.

  • The rates are stated for the whole rental and for the maximum number of 8 people. For a stay of more than 7 days, we adjust the rates according to your demand. The heating is not included. We ask for a deposit of 30 euros at the time of the booking. It must be sent with the original copy of the rental contract. The means of payment accepted are cheque or money transfer. The balance is to be paid on arrival. Inventory of fixtures on arrival and departure. A copy of the inventory is available in the gite. The final cleaning is not included and you will be charged 50 euros if you want us to do it. Initiation course about plantation and knowledge of various flower species such as rosebushes, shrubs, ryegrass etc. on demand at 50 euros for two hours.

The first one is opening to the landing, is decorated with sweet colours such as pink and grey, equipped with a shower with glass door lavabo, large mirror, various shelves, storage space and several lightings. The other one is en suite to the room. Coloured with aniseed green, shower with glass door electric towel rail, cupboards, shelves, sink and several lightings. Dressing in each bedroom. Two toilets, one on the ground floor and the other one on the landing. IMPORTANT: To adapt to the American standard, we have converted the European bathroom information. Very comfortable beds of 140cm, windows with view on the garden. Cupboards, bedside lights, ceiling lights, mirrors, small desk, paintings, double curtain, all the furniture is refined and colour-coordinated with the textiles. One 25-sqm bedroom suite style, composed of four beds of 90cm, very comfortable, leading on the garden full of flowers. Elegant interior design in beige, brown and orange shades. Several modern pieces of furniture. Leather couches, TV, lamps. Dressing fully equipped with storage space. A bunch of flowers from the garden is always picked to embellishes the house. We put a cot, a high chair and several other accessories at your disposal.
