Conveniently located in the Cote d Azur, this self contained cottage is in a family home in Roquefort Les Pins. With a large garden and beautiful views of the surrounding hills it is a wonderful place to relax. Shared use of the pool and facilities is included. Visitors find it an ideal spot to use for trips to Nice, Cannes and Grasse (all within 30 minutes) and 15 minutes to the popular villages of Valbonne and St Paul de Vence. The rooms are well appointed and the lounge leads onto a terrace which can be covered and is a delightful area for meals. It is a 10 minute drive to the station at Cagnes Sur Mer which provides easy access to Monaco, Nice, Cannes, Grasse and other main line destinations. During the holiday period this is the hassle free way to travel. The cottage is in close proximity to the main house where the owners family live. Unfortunately we cannot cater for dogs.

Based in the hills above Antibes, we are 30 minutes in either direction from Nice, Cannes and Grasse. Easy access from the airport. 15 minutes from Valbonne and St Paul de Vence. Also close to the villages of Biot, Opio, Le Rouret, Gourdon, Tourettes sur Loup, Chateauneuf. With very easy access to the A8 motorway (junction 47) the resorts to the west of Mandelieu, St Raphael, Frejus and St Tropez lie to the west while Villefranche, Monaco, Menton and the Italian Riviera lie to the East. All feasible destinations for a day trip. Access to the mountain villages of Gourdon and resorts of Valberg, Auron and Isola are also well within reach.

A quiet family getaway

We stayed here in 2006, and have taken away some very fond memories of our stay.

The cottage was brand new, and decorated with some lovely touches.

It was part of the family house grounds, separate from the main house with lots of privacy. We spent most evenings dining outside in the courtyard, (with its own attached barbeque.)

The pool is shared with the family, who have their own children. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time.

Shirley, the hostess knows the area very well. She gave some great tips on some hidden beaches - which are about half an hour away.

We had a day trip to Grasse to visit the perfumeries, and a lovely meal in the courtyards of Valbonne.

Our best day was snorkelling in Cap d'Antibes.

A tranquil getaway

The property and situation is as described, a real feeling of being away from it all yet conveniently situated for Nice , the Cote d Azur or venturing further inland. Internally clean and sufficiently equipped with some nice decor.

The hosts Shirley and James where excellent - helpful, genuinely friendly whilst non invasive , full of useful tips and suggestions with regards the local area, a real pleasure.

A place to really relax by the pool and chill with lots of different seating options plus diving board, badmington, table tennis, trampoline, some beautiful walks/runs etc right from the door.

Very child friendly, our 6 year old son loved every aspect of it.

Weather was also superb which always helps - a place we would definately return to and recommend.

Beautiful cottage in nice and quit surroundings.

The cottage was lovely, very big and beautiful furnished. Also the surroundings and views vere beautiful.

The cottage suited very close to Nice and Antibes, but still in the country, so it was nice and quiet. It also lays good for excursion.

The family were very warm and friendly.

Me and my family would like to come back!

A peaceful haven in paradise

A great place for all the family hidden away amongst the green trees of Roquefort with fantastic views of the neighbouring hills and sandstone hamlets. With nearby beeches or further afield famous names like Nice and Cannes you are spoilt for choice but can always retreat to the tranquility of the secluded villa swimming pool.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

We frequently visit 450 chemin du Loup and find it a most idyllic setting. It is so convenient for the Riviera yet so quiet and peaceful with those stunning views.

The views, the beauty, the hills and the boulangerie down the road make this a place you never want to leave.

Apart from the lovely cottage and the courtyard, our hosts were so helpful and full of good suggestions. We loved being here and will come again,
