charming apartment, with terrace, quiet in the city centre, ideal for a stay in marseille.

very bright and calm with the precious wood deck, exposed on south and gardens! in a small, old building in the 5th arrondissement, in a small quiet street.

You can discover the whole center of Marseille easily by feet, but you also have Métro and Tram just beneath. The main station is by two stations of the métro.

You'll have all kind of cafés, restaurants and shops next to. The big market on La Plaine takes place on tuesday, thursday and saturday and the producermarket on wednesday on Cours Julien. You'll be really in the heart of Marseille (but not the touristic center!)
About Fr. Plei

I am German and I came to Marseille the first time 25 years ago. And I felt in love with this chaotic town on the Mediterranean Sea.

Since we could buy this charming apartment, I am happy to welcome foreigners and I try to help as good as I can that you'll have a lovely stay in Marseille.

I also like to say: gay&lesbians are welcome!

Why Fr. Plei chose Marseille

When I saw this apartment the first time, I was totally charmed. A little jewel in the heart of Marseille, but quiet, so quiet that you are astonished when you sometimes hear from far away a car or a motorcycle.

The apartment was at this time rented by a good friend of mine and we spent marvelous moments on the terrace.

In 2003, the apartment underneath was to rent too and as I always dreamed to live in this part of the town, I moved in.

And better, when in 2006 he sold, I didn't hesitate to buy one moment. It is so rare to find an apartment with a big terrace (not a balcony!) in Marseille. And the view is on gardens.

And so we, my husband and me, are the happy owners and having the big pleasure to welcome people visiting Marseille.

What makes this apartment unique

The quarter Cours Julien / La Plaine is the quarter the most alive in Marseille with his markets, the cafés and restaurants and a lot of places to go. But is not the touristic center, it is really mixed.

The advantage of the apartment is, that you'll find this Marseille live by feet at five minutes, but the apartment itself is really calm.

You can reach quite everything by feet, but bot métros are near and the tram N°2 also. From the railway station is is only two halts.

Very close to the center you can reach quite everything by walking.

The next beach is 4km away, but the nicest beaches are a little bit more far away; Marseille goes 35 km along the coast...

    The departure an arrival days can be negotiable. But on summer holidays the renting period goes is really from Saturday to Saturday.
  • Arrival: On your arrival we'll ask you for the rest of the rent, making (if you would like) an inventory and ask you for the caution on deposit for 400 € that will be refunded on departure - if there is no main problem (we didn't had any for 5 years now!)
  • You'll also find some basics like salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar, toilet paper... on arrival.
  • Non-contractual booking deposit: 40% rent
  • Damage deposit: EUR500.00

Thank you so much for the wonderful time we had staying in your appartement in Marseille. We loved sitting outside on your terrace enjoying the sun.... and this in January!!!
