BEAUTIFUL VILLA, 4-8 PEOPLE, TWO FLOORS, SEA VIEW, TERRACE, GARDEN.

We stayed in this home for ten days and were totally enthralled! First of all, the home was just as described in the advertisement. It was spacious, well furnished, tasteful and the garden well proportioned. Everything was clean and (for colder spring or fall days) the heating and hot water is abundant. The kitchen had everything needed (perhaps not a hot water kettle, but the gas stove was charming and did the job)
The location is simply delightful. You cant really see this from the pictures, but the gate in the garden leads by way of a short paved path to an impressive rocky cove directly on the ocean. It is not a beach but there are swimming possibilities for the brave. (No worries, swimming beaches are small but nearby!) Also nearby is a delightful little coast town (4 mins by foot) which is not only breathtakingly beautiful but is very well visited by public busses going to larger nearby towns.
Visitors should know that the parking situation requires some skill as the driveway is narrow and steep (though with practice we managed well with our large van, so you'll be fine). There is only room for one car on site. (parking lot for a fee is a small walk away)
This house rental was completely uncomplicated and the owner as well as the on site contact person was so helpful most gracious.
I can really recommend this house, especially for families with children. The rocky ocean area is a little tricky and I would say that families with very small children should be warned: the nearby rocky bay is a little scary (forget a buggy! Sharp scary rocks not for new walkers!) But the wonderful garden and and nearby beaches certainly make up for it. My youngest were 8 and 10 and it was the perfect adventure for them.
We would definitely rent this home again!
