Koonya Cottage is situated in Wye River featuring filtered ocean views of the Wye River beach, the Great Ocean Road and famous Wye River Pub which are a 5-8 minutes walk away. Koonya Cottage offers three separate sleeping areas, for a total of 8 persons: you can hear the ocean, see the kookaburras and feed the parrots on a large deck with BBQ facing the ocean or sit and read next to a warm wood burning stove or enjoy your own fireplace dining. You can also relax in a large indoor spa bath with soothing natural eucalyptus rain water or enjoy a separate shower. Sitting among the Eucalypt forest and watch the koalas is just wonderful. You have the opportunity to experience the natural surroundings, beach, and river or go shopping, dining and catch a movie in Lorne, which is a 15-20 minutes drive away. It’s a 1.5 hour drive from the famous 12 Apostils, 45 min from Otway Fly Walk and a 2 hours drive from Melbourne.
