Doors to terraced garden with fabulous views of Cardigan Bay. First floor: fully-equipped kitchen, second bathroom, 3 bedrooms. Second floor: 2 bedrooms. Lower ground floor: large playroom with TV, games and toys. Rhianfa has been allocated a 4 star rating by visit Wales.

New Quay is a picturesque seaside town on the Cardigan Bay coast of West Wales. Its golden sandy beaches and sheltered harbour make New Quay a delight to visit at any time of year. Cardigan Bay, which is dotted with pretty little resorts and stretches of spectacular Heritage Coastland, is home to bottlenose dolphins, porpoises and seals. The Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron lies within a distance of 7 miles.This architectural gem is full of interest. There's a Sea Aquarium, the famous Harbourmaster Restaurant and the National Trust's Llanerchaeron estate. Travel inland from Aberaeron to the Teifi Valley. A favourite with visitors is Cenarth Falls, a famous beauty spot. From Aberystwyth travel on the narrow-gauge Vale of Rheidol Railway to experience the waterfalls at Devil's Bridge or visit the ruins at Strata Florida Abbey, near Pontrhydfendigaid in the Cambrian mountains. Central for touring Wales and ideal for pursuits such as angling, sailing, birdwatching, cycling and walking.

New Quay beaches extend in a golden arc around the bay and are ideal for relaxing and strolling by the sea. Enjoy a walk along the front to the end of the Quay and watch the boats sail by or sit in one of the cafes overlooking the harbour and see the dolphins. Take a boat trip to explore the full delights of Cardigan Bay or a fun afternoon mackerel fishing!

We had a lovely holiday here. The house was lovely and clean with brilliant facilities. The playroom is great, along with the garden, house etc etc. We would highly recommend. The bedrooms were lovely, fantastic views. We even watched the dolphins from our bedroom through binoculars.The only niggle we had was the downstairs kitchen/utility could have done with crockery and cutlery, this was only due to the fact that the dining room was next door to it. Instead we did tend to eat in the upstairs kitchen as all the utensils were up there but the table was a bit of a squeeze. Thanks for a great holiday

This was our first family holiday for several years when my 2 sons and daughter joined us along with their partners.

The house was spacious, clean, stylish and welcoming.

everything was 'top notch' not cheap and cheerful which you quite often get.

Plenty of room to sit down and relax.

All the electric was included in the price, which was great when you are cooking, washing and drying.

The garden area was perfect for relaxing.

We have recomended to our friends.

19/07/08 - 02/08/08. The photo's do not do this beautiful property justice! We have just spent a fantastic two weeks here and had a really great time! The house is located in a great position and New Quay offers everything we needed. We did not use the car for the first 10 days! Seaside retreat

Just returned from another long weekend at Rhianfa and felt I had to leave my views.

The place is wonderful, everything you need is there in the house, from the two shower/bathrooms (which is handy when 2 families are staying with 4 children as well!!) to the basement playroom where the children spent a lot of time. The house is very clean and comfortable and the only problem was that we did not want to leave!!

We will be back again, for sure.

We stayed at Rhianfa over newyear 2006, and have revisited since. The house is tasefully decorated and feels very welcoming and homely. The owners attention to detail is obvious in the whole house, from the welcome bottle of wine we received to the beautiful bed linen and towels and supply of buckets and spades for the children. A great place for a family to spend a holiday as the playroom is a delight for the children. The only downside I can identify is that the house may not be suitable for disabled visitors but luckily this did not apply to us.
