This rustic style bungalow is located in a quiet cul-de-sac know as 'Las Casitas'. The villa has a private heated pool and is situated only 100 metres from the beach..a minute's stroll. Self catering is easy with a mini-market only 2 minutes walk from the villa. Sample Corralejo's many & varied restaurants!! Dining out is easily done with a 10 minute stroll along the lovely Avenidas Grandes Playas to the restaurant, shop & bar area of Corralejo. Try Fuerteventura's fantasic 7 mile long beaches which are also very close by. This very private villa is perfectly located for your holiday. All amenities are within walking distance. A car is not necessary. Towels, linen, bbq, iron, hair dryer & baby cot are all included. Some UK tv channels too. Use 'Fly to' in Google Earth to locate the villa. It has a mature garden, spacious patio area, roof terrace and private heated pool with shower. The pool area has ample room for sunloungers for you to relax on. The beach is only 1 minute away! Really! Perfectly safe for the little ones. For longer romatic strolls, try the Dunes beach which are about 15 minutes away. Idle hours away on the long golden beaches, get away from it all, get away from everyone! These beaches are 7 miles long and very sparsely populated! Missing home too much? We have some UK television channels and Sky news. Fly to Fuerteventura - Easy Jet from Liverpool & Stansted, Monarch from Luton, Manchester, Bermingham & Gatwick. Palmair from Exeter & Bournemouth.

Notes: Welcome pack on arrival - tea, coffee, milk, sugar and water. Plenty of books to enjoy while you sunbathe. Large variety of DVD´s for the kids to watch before bedtime. Tim, who looks after the villa, no longer lives next door. He lives about one mile away but can be called in the event of a major problem.

Casa Madera

We stayed in Casa Madera from the 1st to the 8th March, 2008. Directions to the house, provided by padraig, were excellent. We had no problem finding the house. On arrival we found that the house was very well prepared, clean and tidy. Coffee, tea, milk, sugar etc were available for us. This was very handy as we arrived late evening. The location of the house is excellent. It is in a quiet area, less than 5 minute stroll to a nice beach. A 10 minute stroll into the centre of town and about a 15 walk to the main beach, which is in then opposite direction to the town. Books, video, toys etc were available to use. It was a real home from home. Tim, who lives next door, looks after the property. He has lived in the area for some years and gave very good advice on where to eat. One of the recommended restaurants was "The Point", a pleasant walk along the beach, about 10 minutes. It is owned by a Scottish couple. They were excellent, as was the food. We had a problem with the washing machine. We informed Tim and within an hour it was fixed. Overall we really enjoyed the stay and had no complaints.

Casa Madera

Casa Madera is a lovely villa, very spacious, well equipped and beautifully looked after by Tim.
The pool is delightful and the veranda/patio perfect for BBQ. It is perfectly situated in a lovely residential area and convenient for shops, restaurants and the beach. Good for families and very child friendly.
We highly recommend it.

Well, i must say after staying in many a place and travelling the world i have to say this was one of the most enjoyable breaks of my life. The villa was spotless, the airport pick up effortless and Tim was as promised the most helpful guy you could ask for. We all at one time during the holiday got ill but Tim was there to help find a pharmacy and translate for us. The whole experience was wonderful, i must say that although a car isnt reqd it is worth getting one to travel around the island as there is so much to go and see and explore the hidden beaches. Thanks for a great time and will definetly be back.

Just to let future guests know, that Tim no longer lives just beside the villa as has been mentioned in a few previous reviews, he does, however, live close by and is still as helpful as ever.
As John says, a car isn't required as the villa is in easy walking distance of the town and beaches but, yes, you will need one if you do have an inclination towards exploring the island
