I stayed at the studio for a week and am so glad I chose Thierrys place. The location couldn't have been better, close to Metro stations, clean and very safe. The neighborhood was not at all "touristy". There were a number of cafes close by and there were also several grocery stores in the neighborhood if you should chose to prepare meals in the Studio.
Studio was clean and all basics were provided. The bed was very comfortable. Thanks Thierry for a great stay!
It's small but it has everything you need. It's clean. We stayed a whole week. We were able to cook, watch television and rest at night after walking around Paris all day. It's location is great. Everything is at a walking distance. We are planning to go back to Paris next summer, and we may very well rent this studio again. The only problem I can think of is the fact that there is no elevator. Apart from that, it was perfect for us.
we stayed at the "Studio Orange" last month for six nights. It suited us perfectly and we would have no hesitation about staying there again. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details such as the color-theme, kitchen provisions (coffee, tea, etc.), and the way furnishings and accessories are arranged to make very best use of the small space. The location is good for walking all around central Paris, and also near the metro and the 96 bus, which goes direct to Gare Montparnasse via Ile de la Cité and the Latin quarter. We happened to arrive the weekend of the "Brocante de Printemps" on Rue de Bretagne, which was a treat to see. Thanks once again Thierry for your prompt, helpful communication and your hospitality!
This small unit in the middle of the Marais district completely served the purposes for my wife and I for our stay in Paris. Clean, well-maintained, light and airy, The description in the ad was pretty accurate. Centrally located between several Metro lines made it easy to get around Paris and close to all the amenities needed during stay, we couldn't be happier with our time there. The small kitchen allowed us to eat in when we wanted to and all the nearby restaurants made eating out easy. All in all a place well worth its price.
Thierry (manager/owner) was helpful in all respects regarding arrangements for access, usage, and departing the premises, which were clean & functional, though spartan and tight quartered. This apartment is a great deal with all the basic amenities, providing a fabulous neighborhood from which to explore Paris. We were able to bike to a substantial amount of the City, and still have the convenience of a chamber to organize, revive and plan the next adventure. Having the international and local phone service and other tourist resource information was also helpful.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for two weeks and could not have been happier with our experience. We were planning a trip to Paris all year and the price of hotels and hostels worried us. It cost us less to stay here for two weeks than a long weekend at a hotel!
The area is amazing... everyone I know who has lived in or extensively visited Paris told us to stay in the Marais. We never took a cab, bus, or train except to get to the airport and back. We just walked everything. Our favorite part of the trip was actually just hanging out in our little neighborhood.... waking up every morning and getting bread from the bakery, cheese from the fromagerie, and meat from the charcturie was something I looked forward to every day.
We live in Manhattan, so we're used to having a small space. It makes a fantastic base for exploring, and if you have a longer trip it's a nice cozy place to have an "off" day. There is a little hipster taco place right downstairs populated mostly by Americans. Staying here made our entire trip affordable, and we enjoyed ourselves so much more than if we would have had a typical touristy hotel.
