2 sunny and quiet studios-lofts, overlooking the Paris rooves, on the top floor of a six storey building (lift) - the 1°, orientation SE, air conditionned, the 2°, orientation NW - located on a small, low traffic street, in the trendy district of Bastille-Le Marais.

Easy access to public transportation, with four Metro lines within a walking distance.

The area provides culture and entertainment on a big scale: Place des Vosges, Musée Picasso, Bastille Opéra, cinemas, cafés and restaurants, boutiques, food markets, swimming pool...etc.

You will experience a very pleasant stay, whether you came for work or a vacation, in these quaint places, with their high ceiling and thermo pane windows. Complete kitchenware and multimedia are provided. The first one, a 25 square meter surface, plus a 4 square meter loggia can accommodate 2 to 4 people; the second one, a 20 square meter surface plus a 5 square meter loggia, can accomodate 2 to 3 people.

At a short walking distance, numerous opportunities are available, whether you want to discover the historical heritage of the elegant Marais, the canal Saint-Martin and its locks, visit the secluded mews where the craftmen of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine work, or get a taste of 'bohème' nights in the popular cafés of the Bastille-Oberkampf district. Many food stores are conveniently located nearby, and, above all, the famous Richard Lenoir market, which takes place on Thursday and Sunday, every week.

Clean and cosy

Sorry, took me years to write a review. We stayed in the Studio 16-23 Oct 2009 with two children aged 10 and 7 years old and totally loved it. Recommended to a few friends since then. The owner was very friendly and helpful, location is very convenient and the property was clean and has everything one needs for a few days' hassle-free holidays. My only concern would be that loft stairs might be unsafe for babies and toddlers and a bit too difficult for elderly travellers, but other than that the place is just perfect.

I stayed at the Marais/Bastille studio about 4 months. It's a great apartment! The studio is well-equipped ( I had everything I needed for my extended stay!) and the layout is great. The natural light and high ceilings give it a very spacious feel. The loft bed is extremely comfortable. I also really enjoyed the neighborhood and the nearby open-air market. I'd definitely stay here again! Francoise is very warm, receptive and attentive! Very highly recommended!

It being my first time to Paris, I was warned by friends and family about the cleanliness and expense of hotels, and hostels, so I decided to rent an apartment for the week instead. Not only is this flat extremely well priced, it is also very clean, in a great location (a block from the metro), and the landlord is incredibly sweet and very helpful. You cannot ask for anything else.

The next time I am in Paris, I know exactly where I am going to stay!

If you look for a small, clean, tastefully furnished appartment in an upcoming, young area in Paris, you found it. If the elevator doesn´t work, sixth floor is sort of a challenge, but the good thing is, that the room is light-flooded. The big futon-mattress is just perfect, the japanese tatami-mats below make it even more comfortable. There are some nice restaurants and bakeries just around the corner and two metro-stations in walking distance. Highly recommended!
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
