Las Palmas is a spacious, contemporary St.James west coast villa rental refurbished in May 2014 with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms located in a private road and is a short 2 minute walk to Paynes Bay beach. The villa is approximately 500 metres from The Sandy Lane Hotel and One Sandy Lane

The property has a contemporary feel. Las Palmas is centrally located within easy access to the highlights of the west coast. The property boasts its own jacuzzi in the private landscaped gardens of Las Palmas.

Las Palmas is one mile from Holetown and 10 minutes drive from the popular Mullins Beach, 15 minutes from Speightstown. It is close to numerous restaurants.Amenities include 3 bedrooms (one super king, one Queen and two twin beds), 2 bathrooms (one en suite), fitted kitchen, sunken living room with maple wood floors, covered patio with bar, fridge and seating area. The property is air-conditioned and has ceiling fans throughout.

AMAZING HOLIDAY!

Myself and partner have just spent a week on this beautiful island in Karen's stunning home. She had recommended a driver, Andrew, who collected us from the airport and he advised us on the best places to visit during our stay. The house is lovely and modern inside, spacious and very homely (with the added bonus of a jacuzzi!). If you want to lounge about the house, there are plenty of sunbeds in the garden, but we spent most of our days down at Paynes Bay, which is no more than a 2 minute walk from the house - perfect! The beach is wonderful, the locals who run the beach bar 'Coconutz' make you feel so welcome. It was like home from home but with better weather :-)

PERFECT WARM WEATHER ESCAPE!

My husband and I traveled to Las Palmas with our 15 month old daughter and I can honestly say I wouldn't have done anything differently! Everything about the house was perfect! Communications were smooth with both the owner (Karen)and the house manager (Sharon). Karen had recommended a taxi driver (Andrew) for airport pickup he was there waiting for us in his extremely clean air conditioned taxi van, he is a local so he gave us some good tips on what to do during our stay. Sharon and Yvette (the housekeeper) were at the house when we got there to show us around. Sharon was easy to get in touch with via phone or email during our stay. Yvette was the perfect housekeeper the house is immaculate and she babysits! The house was perfect for our needs: private, quiet, fenced in and we felt very safe, not to mention the hot tub after we put our daughter to bed was an added bonus! Paynes Bay Beach is beautiful and the water is the most amazing Caribbean blue, a few of the days the broken coral hurt my feet so I would recommend bringing water shoes. There is a fish market within walking distance to the villa and a veggie/fruit stand that is easily accessible in nearby Holetown so we ate at the villa every night. We rented a car for a few days during our stay so we could see the east coast of the island but used the public buses for the majority of our time. The bus stop is an easy 3 minute walk from the villa. We hope to return next year! We loved everything about the house and Barbados!

This is the second time we have stayed at Karen's house, and it wont be the last! The house itself is perfect! It is extremely well designed/built and maintained, including a kitchen you can actually use. Very clean, comfortable and spacious with so many different spots in which to chill with friends or relax in private. We loved the quiet, beautiful beach right out the door!

PERFECT CHOICE, A STONE'S THROW FROM THE BEACH

We spent a little over a week at Las Palmas which was a perfect choice of accommodation for our stay in Barbados. Really spacious inside and out with a lovely garden to eat break fast in and enjoy a private jacuzzi. The villa is fully equipped (especially the Kitchen - better equipped than our kitchen at home!) and really spacious and could sleep 6 comfortably. Sharon the Villa manager was excellent and arranged a hire car and a deep sea fishing trip for us ( and we appreciated that well equipped kitchen when we brought the catch of the day back for lunch!)

In the immediate surrounding area it is a 5 minute walk to the very calm beach where you can swim out and snorkel with Sea turtles, and there are a couple of nice restaurants nearby too (Scarlet and Daphne's). Hopping up and down the coast proved simple too - there are regular (though slightly hair raising at times!) buses that charge £2 barbados dollars any distance.

All in all, a great place to stay to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing island

PERFECT FAMILY BEACH HOLIDAYS

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids aged 5 & 9) stayed at Las Palmas in July 2011 for 2 weeks. The villa has an excellent location - a quiet spot just behind Paynes Beach. Sharon, the property manager, was really welcoming and helpful. The villa itself matched the descriprion and was very well maintained. There is no shortage of nearby restaurants and attractions. We would recommend Las Palmas to anyone looking for a relaxing beach holiday in Barbados.

LAS PALMAS TURNED OUT TO BE A GREAT CHOICE

My wife and I stayed 5 weeks at Las Palmas. We chose this villa because of its location and we weren't disappointed. It is literally across the road from Paynes Bay beach (in our opinion the best on the West Coast) and a few minutes by car from Holetown, and within easy reach of Bridgetown and all the West coast. Although we spent a lot of our stay touring the island (especially the East coast, which is spectacular and quiet) the location meant we were able to easily get to restaurants, shops etc.
The villa is extremely well equipped and, although there is always the odd hiccup on arrival, the manager was on hand to resolve any problems very quickly and efficiently. Although there is no on-site pool the jacuzzi more than makes up for it, and with the beautiful sea being so close anyway - who needs a pool !
All in all we were very pleased with our choice and our next visit to Barbados is likely to include Las Palmas.
