Perfect town, perfect house

The house is lovely in its simplicity and comfort -- and perfect for a couple or a family with children. We cooked, we drank, we read, we swam and we wished we could stay forever. The glorious sunny and warm weather topped it off. And after visiting just about every other town in the area (all of them delightful), we decided that Bonnieux and our little corner of it (if only for a week) were as close to perfection as we could want. Hope to be back again.

Owner's Response: We're very happy to see the the house and its location convey the same impression to us as to our renters: it feels like a little corner of Provencal paradise. Bonnieux is often called 'The Mount St-Michel' of Provence, and it's true it doesn't belie its name .
The weather being very often sunny gives many opportunities of dining on the terrasse or having a drink elsewhere in the garden, or near the swimming pool, on the loungers: the view is superb wherever you stand. In the evening, it's also another sort of magic with the terrasse 'cliff' 'lit up providing a romantic atmosphere.
If you're after the spirit of Provence, that's the place to be!
