Come experience a private waterfront retreat on stunning south Vancouver Island. Surrounded with a panoramic ocean view and nature in every direction, you will be only steps away from the trail-heads of stunning East Sooke Park, and short drive to the spectacular beaches and West Coast Trail.

Wake up and cast off from the southern-most dock in Canada just minutes from some of the largest Chinook on the West Coast! All this and still only a comfortable drive to Canada's finest west coast city, Victoria.

Vistas of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. Eagles, swans, otters, seals, whales and large numbers of migrating waterfowl have been seen from the private hot tub and wrap around deck. Our private dock provides the option to fish, crab, kayak, scuba dive or just sit and reflect on the wildlife going by.

The house and landscaped grounds are ideal for a family vacation. The main house has three bedrooms, and the adjoining cabin has bunks with room for up to six more friends or family.

The full kitchen, fireplace, along with the comfortably and tastefully accommodated living room provide a 180-degree view of the Sooke basin. Victoria with its museums, gardens, sight-seeing and restaurants is a short drive away. Closer in enjoy the art, bakeries and restaurants of Sooke including the world famous Sooke Harbor House.

Tim and Sue have a long, deep connection with the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. With a degree in Ocean Sciences from UBC in Vancouver, they have traveled the world only to return back to the most beautiful place on the planet: Vancouver Island.

  • Guest cabin is $150/night in peak, and $100/night in off season.
  • Major holidays charged at peak season rates. Three night minimum on long weekends
  • Cleaning Fee ($200)
  • 50% Deposit required to book. Balance due two weeks before the arrival date
