Tourist region abundant in history with lots choice for outings and excursions: Oleron, La Rochelle, Rochefort, Marais Poitevin, Saintes La Romaine, regional forests, salt marshes, magnificent beaches, the sea and its fruits, Pineau, cognac, good restaurants and the quiet life.
