Enjoy the Mediterranean sun in the countryside of Cathar. Pleasant hiking from the village of Corbières, in a holiday environment, from where you can escape either to the sea, to the mountain or to the numerous touristic sites. Stay in my centenarian family house, very charming thanks to its furniture, its living space and comfort. Living room and dining room, 3 bedrooms for 5 people maximum, some of the walls in the interior are stonewalls. Well equipped for a comfortable stay. Open plan kitchen. Southern garden for relaxing. Very big south-facing terrace with unobstructed view of the mountain and the vines. The house is located at the top of a pretty village and below the hills of pines and garrigues. In the village, a nice square planted with cypresses and pink laurels, is the best place for petanque and party nights. Holidays full of walks, swimming, all by staying in a peaceful environment. Relaxation and authenticity assured.

The surroundings are prestigious in history. Lagrasse is 8 km away, with its Cistercian abbey, as well as Fontfroide 15 minutes away, Narbonne, small city full of Roman history, its museum and charm 30 km away, Carcassonne, its town with a fabulous July 14 blaze, Cathar Castles at the surroundings. There are also huge fine sandy beaches, 30 minutes away with all the marine interests (the Franqui among others, magnificent by its charm). The river, Orbieux, 6km away, fishing and secured swimming. The mountain, if you want to go hiking is 30 minutes away. Possibility to go horse riding in Lagrasse. Pedestrian paths, good restaurants with Corbières wine, very famous even in the village.
