This beautifully refurbished townhouse in the heart of Benahavis has stunning views of the surrounding mountains & arguably the best location in the village.There is a large stylish sitting room with 2 leather sofas + UK TV channels, separate stereo system, fully equipped 'designer' kitchen (granite worktops, all appliances & Villeroy & Bosch crockery). There are 2 double bedrooms + a single bedroom/study (sofa bed). 2 stunning South-facing balconies offer sunbathing or shade (lower balcony) on sunloungers with a refreshing breeze & of course the magnificent views. Gas barbecue provided. There is parking right outside, but the village centre is only 3 minutes walk. Rental can be 'expanded' for an additional payment to include the spacious downstairs large studio/apartment (approx 40 sq m) with separate bathroom, kitchenette & sitting room area with own TV. Alternatively the studio appartment can be rented separately.

Gas barbecue provided. There is parking outside, but the village centre is only 3 minutes walk. This was set up with all comforts for family use, but now we would like to share its delights with those who will appreciate it

Benahavis is a beautiful white village in the mountains, but only 5 miles from the coast. It abounds with attractive flower-filled gardens and waterfalls and is home to artists & designers. There are many Bodegas, Spanish restaurants (serving authentic regional food - paella, tapas etc). There are wonderful scenic mountain walks from the village, where a kaleidoscope of mountain flowers bloom, nightingales sing and the views are breathtaking. Ideal for golfers - only a short drive (10 minutes) to any of the 6 nearby golf courses Los Aqueros, Attalaya, Montemayor, La Quinta, Los Flamencos, El Paraiso, Guadalmina, Marbella Country Club. The village has its own new golf range and swimming pool (summer). Also available horse riding & quad biking in the mountains. Only 20 minutes away is the sophisticated resort of Marbella, and the famous port of Puerto Banus where the wealthy moor their mega-yachts in the marina. Or drive 30 mins to Gibraltar for a fascinating tour or duty-free shopping.

Wonderful House in Benahavis....

Our family has just returned from a 2 week stay in this lovely house, situated in a beautiful Spanish village, Benahavis. It was in a fantastic location, 2 minutes walk from the main town and 10 minutes walk from the fantastic local pool with all its amenities. Although close to town, you do not get any noise from the bars or restaurants, it was wonderful. Everything the owner said about this house is spot on, the location, layout and facilities. It was clean and very well maintained. The fully equipped kitchen was superb as we could enjoy home cooked meals if we did not wish to eat out, thus saving money but not compromising on the joy of eating outside (as the first floor has a terrace with stunning mountain views). The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable (en-suite for master) as was the dining area inside and the lounge with English TV channels (ideal for younger family members!) We loved the local mountain walks, friendly bars and restaurants and the easy accessibility to all the main towns (Marbella, Estepona, Gibraltar) by car (which is a must if you want to explore!) From enquiring to booking, the owner has offered excellent customer service and could not have been more friendly or helpful. We have already recommended this house to family and friends and would love to go back again...perhaps next year!

Great holiday - fantastic villa in lovely village

My husband and I would highly recommend this property. It was perfect for us and our young son. Lots of space for him to toddle about in and lots of space for Mummy and Daddy to relax in.

It was very well equipped with superb views. The terrace on the top floor was fantastic for lying in the sun and the balcony on the ground floor was shaded for when it was time to cool down - perfect. We certainly made the most of the BBQ there too.

We found the village very welcoming, with a nice balance of bars and restaurants without feeling too touristy. We made use of the local amenities particularly the village pool which was very well kept and also had a kiddies pool - again just right for our son.

There were lots of places to go sightseeing too. We particularly enjoyed Ronda, a beautiful town built over a dramatic gorge - breathtaking and well worth a visit (good for shopping for leather goods too). There were still lots of places we didn't get a chance to visit so it is certainly somewhere we would like to come again.

Beautiful location and good value

This property is lovely and set in a beautiful village not far from the bustle of the coastal resorts.

A car is essential and then you can explore,as we did, a wide range of locations. We had a day trip to Tangiers from Algeciras - good value at 59 euros for the ferry crossing, a guide and minibus and a Moroccan lunch. We haggled in the bazaar and sampled the culture under the watchful eye of our knowledgeable guide.

We also visited Ronda, Gibralter, Estapona beach and marina, Puerto Banus and Mijas. Mijas is a pretty little town midway between Malaga and Marbella. There was a festival on and we experienced a bull fight and flamenco in the ancient bullring. There was a great atmosphere with the Spanish enjoying all the other events including some great live music in the main square.

In between all these excursions - none of which were further than an hour's drive away - we enjoyed the facilities of the house and its location. The house is spacious, clean and very well-appointed and the village has plenty of inviting restaurants and bars. When we wanted to stay in we had a bbq on the balcony - very relaxing to eat, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset in the balmy evening air.

My husband and I thought it was one of the best holidays we have had and we will return! We will be recommending the property to our friends and family.

Lovely apartment in the hills

My wife and I have just returned form a fabulous 10 day stay at this 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment is in the hills (Benahavis), but is also fairly close to the coast. It is a lovely apartment - with two super (large) balconies overlooking the hills. The village has loads of restaurants. Anyone looking for a relaxing break, but also want to go on a few day trips then this is perfect (we went to Rhonda and also Tarifa).
