Notes: Pool is a small pool for dipping and cooling off only. It is not meant for any serious swimming. it is great for lying around to get some sun. The ocean is very, very near and a great place to swim, with the beautiful white beaches. Hirsch's landing is spacious, with a good room layout. The master bedroom has His and Hers separate dressing room areas, each with their own sink. The 2 other bedrooms and 2nd bath are on the other side of the house for privacy. There is an extra bedroom & bath built off the garage that can be used if necessary, for one more person.

More details: This family residence is bright and sunny and comfortable and right on the water. One level living makes it perfect for older adults or for families, or as a romantic vacation getaway. Beautiful landscaping, a wild bird that makes daily visits hoping to be fed..and manatee sightings are frequent. Water views from all over the house. Just across from the beach with it's pure white sand and gorgeous sunsets. And let's not forget that St. Armand's Circle is very short walk away, with it's terrific shops, restaurants and Ice cream shops, and music at night with outdoor dining adventures.

Cultural Oasis of Florida.: Downtown Sarasota with all of it's cultual allures is a short 2 mile drive away There is world class professional Theatre ...Asolo Repertory Theatre, & the Florida Studio Theatre, and fun Musicals at the Golden Apple Dinner Theatre. Also, Sarasota has it's own great Sarasota Opera, Sarasota Ballet, Symphony, and the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, as well as the Ringling Museum of Art. In addition, there are art galleries on Palm Avenue, and on Saturday Mornings, the popular Farmer's Market is a fun place to buy fresh fruits and veggies and other'stuff'. G-Wiz is fun for the kids on a rainy day.

Waren im Herbst 2007 dort. Lage super, wenige Miunuten Fußweg zum Lido Key, der uns im übrigen besser gefällt als Siesta Key.

Das Haus selber ist in die Jahre gekommen, so dass insbesondere der Außenbereich renovierunsgbedürftig ist. Innen hat man nachts ein Kakerlaken-Konzert. Gesehen habe ich aber nur eine...

Wenn es mein Haus wäre, würde ich mehr in die Erhaltung investieren. Bei der super Lage, wäre das sicherlich für die Vermietung attraktiver.

Wer wert auf einen guten und großen Pool legt, sollte das Haus nicht mierten. Mit kleinen Kindern sollte man außen gut aufpassen, weil Pool und Kanalzugang nicht gesichert sind.

Aber ansonsten war´s ein toller Urlaub in toller Umgebung. Z.B. kam eines Nachmittags eine Manatee-Mummy mit ihrem Baby vorbei geschwommen (Haus liegt am Kanal), alle Geräte funktionierten, Sauberkeit war (bis auf die nicht vernichteten Kakerlaken) in Ordnung.
