The Apartment has been recently restored and is located in the centre of Sorrento, just 200 meters from the main square Piazza Tasso. The sea and the beach are within walking distance, only five minutes away. The apartment is provided with air-conditioning system in all the rooms and is therefore ideal for all year long holidays. It is composed of: entrance hall, three double bedrooms (two with a balcony), equipped kitchen (washing machine, one large fridge with freezer, 4 ring stove, oven, microwave, kettle) with a small terrace. A living room equipped with dining table, 6 chairs, 2 sofa, TV and balcony; there are two bathrooms ,one with shower, the other one with tube. Safe in one room! Provided also with ironing board and iron.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (Euros) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rentals are inclusive of linen, gas and electricity and all other utilities. Final cleaning in not included in the price and costs 50 euros. Air conditioning is on request and costs 50 euro weekly!
    A 30% deposit is required upon confirmation, the balance is payable cash the day of arrive. In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 60 days prior warning, 50% of the booking deposit is reimbursed. The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 59 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. In case of no - show the deposit is no refundable. If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
    Hours of entry to the apartments are from 15.00 pm until 20.00 pm. Within these hours there is always someone to meet you and to show you the apartment and give you the keys. Out of these hours there is a small charge of Euro 25.00 to send somebody to welcome you and give you the keys.
  • We realise that sometimes flights etc. are late, and for any entry after 11.00 pm there will be a charge of 50.00 Euro.

    Please on arrival at Naples, whether by plane, train or road can you call me (Carlo) on 0039 328 67 38 843 in order that I have a rough idea of your actual arrival in Sorrento and to give you any advise that you might need. We are a family of four, and spent a week in Sorrento in this apartment. It was terrific. Apartment is extremely comfortable, extremely clean and spacious. Well located just 2 minutes walk to centre of town, it was a fabulous base to explore Amalfi coast, Ischia, Capri, etc. Apartment is very well equipped and Velia was really helpful. Guestbook put us on to terrific restaurant (Il Leone Rosso). Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Terrific spot!

Our family of 7 adults enjoyed a week at Carlo's apartment in early July 2009. It was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The balconies over the lemon grove provided extra outside pleasant seating. The air conditioning made it a wonderfully cool place to come home to after a hot day. The location was perfect - grocery store close by, old town shops and main square a short walk, and waterfront easy to get to. It was great to be able to meet people at the bus and train station just 3 minutes away. And Carlo was so very helpful! All of his restaurant suggestions were superb, and he arranged excellent drivers for day trip up Amalfi coast as well as other occasions. We would happily stay there again any time and recommend others do so as well!

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped and maintained property. Carlo was great, speaks excellent English and very, very helpful. 2nd floor with a reliable lift, nice clean quite appartment block. Walk to the beach nearer 15 minutes downhill and 10mins to Piazzo Tasso, but only 5 to trains and buses. Good local shops 2 minutes down the hill. We stayed 2 weeks with 3 teenagers and had a great time. I would definitely recommend it to my closest friend.

A great base in Sorrento!

The property doesn't seem like much from the outside, but its is clean and spacious and perfectly located for all ameneties - shops, plenty of restaurants, train station and general sightseeing.
Carlo, the landlord is very helpful and can organise things at short notice. He organised our airport transfers as well as a day excursion around the Amafli coast.
In a only four full days, we fitted in : a day trip to Pompei (by train - easy!) which was most interesting, as was Herculaneum (half day - again train - again easy and hired a local guide who was good value when shared with another family); a half day trip to Capri and also 8 hour guided tour of Amalfi coast (it seems expensive at 300 euros but it's the only way to catch Positano and Amalfi and Ravello when you're on a tight schedule). The only regret is that the weather wasn't quite good enough to fit in a trip to the top of Vesuvius.
All in all a great short break and highly recommended - we hope to return some day !!

Wonderful Stay in Sorrento!!!

We loved the apartment as it is very close to everything you will need to stay in Sorrento or to use it as a "homebase" while travelling to the many beautiful places nearby such as Capri, Naples, Pompeii, Ischia and Amalfi! The Apartment is clean and well managed and Carlo was very helpful in giving us directions and recommendations! The price is extremely reasonable and the rooms are large! We stayed here with three couples and a toddler and we were more than comfortable! The location is near the town center and the train station and only a few minutes walk from the port where you can catch boats to Amalfi and Capri. We LOVED our stay in Sorrento!
