A very spacious (90sq m), high quality second floor apartment (non smoking) with lift, South facing and centrally situated just north of the Old Town, near the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and Place Garibaldi. A large living/dining room with 3D HD TV (plus glasses) & including SKY, Netflix, Blu-ray 3D/DVD, high quality stereo system and all leather seating. The practical kitchen is well equipped with an American style fridge freezer, small dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven and microwave. The whole apartment has a solid, polished oak floor. The main bedroom has a double bed, walk-in-closet with Miele washing machine/tumble dryer, a large shower, bath and WC. There is also a computer with wireless broadband Internet access. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds that can be joined to make a large double bed if required and this room benefits from a small balcony. A second shower room with WC leads off the living room, close to the second bedroom.
Jemima and Joe live in a small village in the Peak District England. We and our four grown-up children love Nice and come out several times a year. We consider the apartment to be our second home, not just a holiday let, so have furnished and equipped it as such.

The property is very well located giving easy access to the promenade and beach, the port, the old town and main shopping area. It is dual aspect (South East/South West facing) with seven floor-to-ceiling French windows so is very light and airy. There is a small balcony big enough for two chairs and a small table - great for people watching while enjoying a glass of wine!
We fell in love with the 'Frenchness' of the apartment! It is so light and spacious (90 square metres) and fantastically convenient. Bars, restaurants, shops and many of the sights of Nice are on the doorstep. For travelling further afield there is easy access to buses and trams.
We spent six days in the property , early April 2009. The property was exactly as described - facilities, clean, well maintained and in an excellent location.The owners were exceptionally helpful and inspired a sense of confidence that proved to be totally justified. The information and advice regarding the area.was very helpful and well beyond what could be expected. .
Everything was as described ! The apartment was light, spacious and very nicely furnished. Everything we needed was provided. So although we had some bad luck with the weather we had a very comfortable stay. You can do the daily shopping just opposite and it is just a short walk to the old town. We would definitely come again.

This was my third stay in this lovely apartment. A long weekend in October extended our summer with temperatures in the mid-20s. The apartment is situated just outside the Old Town, very near MAMAC and within easy reach of all we wanted. It is spacious, comfortable and extremely well kitted out, making for very easy living. We ate out and we ate in with equal ease and delight. Therefore we ate and drank too much, but were able to walk around Cap Ferrat and run along Promenade des Anglais in compensation!
I hope to return again, and have already recommended it to others who were as impressed as me.

Die sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, der großzügig bemessene Wohnraum und die moderne Medienausstattung vermitteln das Gefühl, man sei zu Hause. Die sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieter stellen eine umfassende Informationsmappe sowie zahlreiches Reiseführer- und Kartenmaterial zur Verfügung. Bei besonderen Fragen gibt es jederzeit die Möglichkeit, direkt bei Jemima und Joe per Email nachzufragen. Wir werden bestimmt noch oft in diese wunderbare Wohnung reisen und können sie ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen.

This place is an absolute winner! Right from walking in (wow!) to the spacious main room, superbly well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating, lovely dining area for sunny breakfasts and cosy dinners, fabulously stylish bathroom for the spacious master bedroom. The owners clearly love the place and there is literally nothing missing - maps and guidebooks for everywhere, 3D videos, coffee machine - this is high class convenience! Everything accurate in the advertising (tho photos cant capture the fabulous sense of space), superclean, everything worked, prompt keys etc. The appt is brilliantly located - the museum of modern art, wonderfully busy place garibaldi and atmospheric old town are all on the doorstep, and Nice's newest park (the Promenade de Paillon) is a delight (try the fountains in 'mist' mode for some great pictures!) and takes you from the apartment right down to the sea in just 15 minutes.
We loved Nice. It's a confident city that takes fun very seriously, wandering around is a delight, public transport so easy, efficient and cheap it's unbelievable, eating out you are spoilt for choice, though check out the owners' and other visitors recommendations in the apartment's information.

Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful apartment in Nice. It was the perfect place to stay, everything you need, very 'homely' but stylish, and very convenient for everything in the town. It was sometimes even hard to go out in the evenings because it was so comfortable to stay in and watch films. Staying so near the Modern Art Museum was fantastic - we loved the Niki de Saint Phalle exhibition.

Our apartment is centrally and conveniently situated just north of the Old Town, 5 minutes walk from Place Garibaldi, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MAMAC) and Nice National Theatre. The famous Cours Saleya market and the beach are 10-15 minutes walk through the vibrant and colourful Old Town. There are two bakeries, a supermarket, an excellent wine shop and numerous restaurants very close by. The number 98 airport bus takes about 25 minutes and stops a few minutes walk from the apartment. Avenue Jean Medecin (main shopping street) is about 10 minutes walk.
