A very spacious (90sq m), high quality second floor apartment with lift, facing South East and South West and centrally situated just north of the Old Town near the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and Place Garibaldi. A large living/dining room is equipped with LCD screen TV with SKY, DVD, high quality stereo system and all leather seating. The kitchen is well equipped with an American style fridge freezer, small dishwasher, gas hob, oven and microwave. The whole apartment has a solid, polished oak floor. The main bedroom has a double bed, a walk-in-closet with Miele washing machine with tumble dryer, a large shower, bath and WC. There is also a computer with wireless broadband Internet access and a phone for Internet calls (Skype and Tesco Internet phone). The second bedroom contains 2 single beds that can be joined to make a double bed if required and it benefits from a small balcony. A second shower room with WC leads off the living room, close to the second bedroom.

Our apartment is centrally and conveniently situated just north of the Old Town, minutes walk from Place Garibaldi, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MAMAC), National Theatre of Nice and the Bus Station (Gare Routiere). The famous Cours Saleya market and the beach are 10-15 minutes walk through the vibrant and colourful Old Town. There are two bakeries, a supermarket, an excellent wine shop and numerous restaurants very close by. The number 98 airport bus takes 20-25 minutes and stops at the Gare Routiere, only a few minutes walk from the apartment. The main shopping street of Av Jean Medecin is about 10 minutes walk.

A key/security/damage deposit of £250 is payable one month before arrival. When keys have been returned, and assuming no damage has been caused, or excessive cleaning required, this deposit will be returned to your home address within approximately two weeks of departure.

We spent six days in the property , early April 2009. The property was exactly as described - facilities, clean, well maintained and in an excellent location.The owners were exceptionally helpful and inspired a sense of confidence that proved to be totally justified. The information and advice regarding the area.was very helpful and well beyond what could be expected. .

apartment is as described,like home from home.close to bus station 1 euro to monaco 40 min.ideal for shops and old town also harbour short walk away.really enjoyed our stay thanks.

Stayed at the apartment for a week at end of June. Apartment is lovely, has everthing you need. It's very clean and well looked after. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.The added benefits of internet access and Sky+ was ideal for our 16 year old son. Their selection of guide books, maps etc at the apartment is fantastic and the info they send you prior to your stay is very helpful. There is some traffic noise, as after all you are in the middle of a city but you do get used to this after a couple of days.The location is ideal, within walking distance of the port,old town, promenade & beach,the main shopping area and the bus station(has buses to almost everywhere around Nice-1euro each way). There are two good supermarkets close by and numerous bars & restaurants. All in all a fab stay at the apartment.

Jemima was extremely helpful and reliable from the very beginning. The apartment speaks for itself. Just view the pictures and that's what you'll get. We really enjoyed the enormous living area. It's designed and decorated in a way that everyone can chill out there. The owners provide abudant amount of information on the apartment itself as well as activities, attractions and restaurants in the area.
We will definitely be back in the near future.

Had a lovely time in Nice - although it rained two days out of the three but apartment was so centrally located could have a glass of wine and peoplewatch. Instructions from owners made it so easy to get there using public transport and everything explained on how to use fridge, tv etc and lots of information in apartment. Plenty of room for two couples to share this beautiful apartment. Will definately visit again one day - Nice comes alive when the sun shines
