Casa Bonita is one of the few properties on the gated development which overlooks the golf course to the rear & the pools to the front.Nuevo Portil Golf Resort. Beautiful safe, sandy beaches are only a 10 min walk away. There are 2 pools, & paddle tennis. Hole 14 has underground secure parking via electric gates. The house is only 2 mins from Golf hotel & clubhouse and the Cartaya Playa hotel with Spa. There are extensive golf courses, all the way into Portugal. The house is equipped to a very high standard with marble floors, an open fireplace, fully fitted kitchen. All the floors have balconies facing the golf green. There is a nearby water park & Karting track, & an extensive National Park for walks and picnics. The restaurants offer high quality local cuisine, fresh shellfish & local fish a speciality. This is a gorgeous, unmolested area, suitable for families seeking a relaxing break in the sun, or golfers looking to play in fantastic conditions on International golf courses.

Costa de la Luz,means 'coast of light' and is named due to its almost year round sunshine of 3000 hours every year. Nuevo Portil has shopping areas close to the beach & another in the fishing village of El Rompido 5 minutes by car. El Rompido is a pretty fishing village with tapas bars good quality restaurants which are open all year round. You will be situated in the heart of Spain's largest national park, with 120 kms of unspoilt golden sandy beaches & miles of aromatic pine forests leading through the sand dunes and down to the beaches. Ayamonte town is 30 minutes drive, airports at Seville and Faro are 55 minutes drive. The beauty of the area is that there are no high rise buildings on the beaches and they retain their natural,tranquil feel.

Excellent for families

We spent 2 great weeks here. It was our 3rd villa on hoyo 14 and was easily the best in terms of value and it's position in the complex. The villa was equipped with everything you'd need for a family holiday and it's position meant it stayed remarkably cool inside. As we were there 2 weeks we also got a midstay clean, a nice touch not usually included. Nuevo Portil is brilliant for families. The villa, with it's fantastic pool, is only 10 minutes walk to the lovely beach and restaurants and bars. Eating out is quite reasonable with several good restaurants to choose from. The ice cream bar (5 mins walk) is a must too! We shall hopefully be returning next year.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Great for golf and beach

We stayed for a five day break when visiting the area for a friend's wedding. The house was perfect for 3 couples, with great outside space for BBQs, evening drinks etc. Great view of the golf course from the upper terraces. Kitchen was perfect for cheap nights in self-catering and there is a small bakery within a short walk serving fresh baked bread all day. Delicious! Only downside was that the pool was closed as it was end of season although the weather was scorching. Seemed a shame they were so strictly date limited rather than weather controlled! Still the beach is only 15 minutes easy walk away. The beach was a fantastic stretch of almost deserted clean sand whilst we were there with great swimming opportunities.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind feedback.I agree with you regarding the pool opening times,I am told 'The Brits' like to be next to the pool,and Spanish prefer to be on the beach !
