Spacious, Stylish Home, V. Private Pool, Peaceful Location, 3 King Suites

Firstly we wanted a home within a secure gated community. Weston Hills has electric gates which are only opened by using your individual gate card. Weston Hills also has a very active Homeowners Association which ensures the community is beautifully maintained. Some of the communities in the Disney area do not have Homeowners Associations, and unfortunately it shows. Weston Hills is also very quiet, making it a superb place to return to after the hustle and bustle of the theme parks or shopping malls. The houses are mainly owned by residents, rather than being solely vacation homes. It's location is ideal, being around a 15 minute easy drive to the Disney Parks, and within minutes of good shopping and restaurants.

The main plus point for us of 'Sandpipers' is its wonderfully peaceful location - it is set right at the edge of the community, with no houses to obstruct the far-reaching views from the pool deck over the miles of conservation wetlands. You will very likely see the hot air balloons drifting over early in the morning, and see and hear a variety of bird and wildlife.

We love getting up early some mornings and having a coffee out on the pool deck and watching the mist slowly evaporate over the wetlands, and listening to the birdsong - or the rather more raucous calls of the local sandhill cranes. We are lucky with the orientation of 'Sandpipers', because the extended pool deck area faces both south and west, so even from very early in the morning, we normally find at least one part of the deck is already in the sun. And of course, given the right weather conditions, we often can watch spectacular sunsets in the west, accompanied by a very vocal 'frog chorus'.

We also enjoy the huge amount of space in our villa! This is a special treat for us, as our tiny English cottage home would fit probably 2-3 times within the 3000sq ft space that 'Sandpipers' offers.

And we like the fact that the Weston Hills community offers several facilities which we and our guests can use free of charge, including a childrens' pool and play area, large community pool, tennis courts and basketball courts.
