Close by the main tourist spots, the house offers a peaceful rest after visiting Versailles or Monet's house and gardens. Guernes is a typical village of Parc natural regional du Vexin Français overlooking the river Seine. Be it during a winter sojourn or a summer escapade it's always an experience wether you are keen on culture and like visiting castles and churches or avid of varied outdoor activities: long walks in the countryside, cycling, horse riding or just enjoy a nice rest on the terrasse watching horse, dog and cat running around.In the village, a mini market is opened everyday.

Impressionnist painters found their inspiration in the skies and landscapes of the Seine valley : Guernes, Mantes, Vétheuil and Giverny: not to be missed.   • It's a house for 1 to 4 persons (plus a baby or a young child). The given prices are for the whole house, garden and private parking. Meals are not included. From foreign countries the reservation can be made by mail or post and the paiement on the day of arrival. If you are staying over 10 days we can make a special price. If central heating is needed, it's paid extra. 50 euros charge optional for cleaning the house when leaving.

  • The separate bathroom has the colours of the South. It's simple and functional with a shower, a washbasin and bathroom cabinet. It can be very warm thanks to a big radiator. The washing machine is in this room. The window opens on the field where the horse is grazing. IMPORTANT: To adapt to the American standard, we have converted the European bathroom information. The original information is : - Number of European bathrooms : 1 (can be with or without toilet inside) - Number of European shower rooms : 0 (can be with or without toilets inside) - Number of toilets : 1

  • There are 2 bedrooms. The "parents bedroom" has a double bed. Sheets, blankets, towels are furnished. There's an English chest of drawers, a table,all antiques or country style. A baby's bed can be added. In the other room 2 separate beds have Laura Ashley covers with cushions. Table and lamps are next to a large cupboard. Both bedrooms open on the vegetable garden. The windows close with wooden shutters at night. There are wooden floors and carpets
