We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Traditional Pelion stone house in Vyzitsa. The villa is elegant, nicely appointed and very comfortable. The view from the living room and the terrace is unsurpassed. It was a wonderful long weekend for us and our friends and we highly recommend for others and hope to be back ourselves!

Excellent Hilltop Retrest

This house, situated in the hills of the Pelion Peninsula is a wonderful treasure - a quiet and relazing place to stay and explore the Pelion region and Thessaly. Not for the faint of heart if you are afraid of mountain roads or heights but it is well equipped and situated in a lovely mountain town. It was the perfect place for our first trip to Greece. The beaches were not close so it not a beach house setting. There are walking trails, hiking, a chance to visit the entire peninsula and within a short (2 1/2 hr.) drive of Mt. Olympus. The owners are very helpful and have supplied information about the locale. The description was very accurate. I would recommend this house to hikers or people who want to relax. It is not disability friendly.

Dies ist ein tolles Haus in wunderbarer Umgebung.
Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig und liebevoll eingerichtet und mit Kartenmaterial, Spielen, Videofilmen u.s.w. sehr komplett ausgestattet. Auf den Terrassen rund um das Haus findet man zu jederzeit Plätze mit Sonne oder Schatten und die sehr gepflegten Aussenanlagen erfreuen das Auge.

Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, und die Aussicht auf Berg und Meer wunderschön und unverbaut.

Da man zum Meer mind. 20min.mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, hat man allerdings dann auch die Wahl zwischen den schönsten Buchten mit grandiosen Schnorchelerlebnissen auf der Ostseite-, oder familienfreundlichen, flachen z.T.Sandstränden auf der Westseite Pilions.

Ein perfektes Haus für Leute, die die Ruhe suchen und die Landschaft geniesen, oder als Ausgangspunkt um die Gegend zu erkunden. Selbst im Hochsommer ist alles (nicht unbedingt typisch für Griechenland) sehr grün. Ein Wanderpfad in der Nähe, der zum Teil sehr zugewachsen war, bietet ein gewisses Abenteuerfeeling, genau wie wohl alle Nebenstrassen jeden Geländewagenfahrer erfreuen.

Die durch die Hanglage des Hauses notwendigen Treppen machen das Haus für Fam. mit kleinen Kindern oder gehbehinderten ungeeignet.

Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und als Verbesserungsvorschlag höchtens eine Spülmaschine.

Wir können das Haus mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

Perfect Pelion Holiday

We stayed at this beautiful property for a long weekend over Easter and if you are looking for tranquility, beauty and relaxation, this is the place to come. The house was spotless with everything you could wish for to make your stay comfortable and the location was ideal for the village, going for walks or driving to beaches. There are superb tavernas in the area and the local bakery sells the best bread! We had a wonderful time and certainly hope to come again with some adventurous walker friends!
